on a consistent basis, this location is the slowest of any mcdonald’s i’ve ever been to. the staff are always bothered that people are there in the first place, and customer service is non existent.
Just this morning, my boyfriend and i came thru the drive thru for mcdonald’s breakfast, we ordered 2 sausage mcgriddles and a sausage burrito meal. after waiting 15 minutes to finally pull up to the window, the worker there (i didn’t get her name but she looked like a 15 year old girl with long brown hair) informed us that they didn’t have any burritos, and our only options were between 2 sausage biscuits, or 2 sausage mcmuffins. my boyfriend responds asking if he can do mcgriddles instead, to which this girl SCREAMS across the building and says “SHERRY, THEY WANT TO KNOW IF THEY CAN DO MCGRIDDLES”. she walks away and we can still hear the entirety of the conversation. She then comes back to the window and says “no you can’t have them” then my boyfriend said it’s fine we’ll just do the biscuits, which he had to repeat several times because the employee kept interrupting him saying “what?” before he could even get his first words out. I don’t know what i was expecting at this point but again completely taken aback when she screamed across the building again with “THEY WANT BISCUITS”. You would think everyone in the building was aware we chose the biscuits (we did not want them) but when we got to the second window the worker there again let us know they didn’t have burritos so we had to go through it all over again. this was a almost 40 minute ordeal.
I have worked in fast paced environments all of my life, and have never sacrificed customer service just because it’s busy or i was having a bad day or whatever it may be. this was a display of a lack of training as well as effective communication and professionalism. this location could benefit from shutting down for a few months to do a lot of training and role play scenarios, and i promise profit will triple if they do that.
i should also add they didn’t even give us the hash brown that comes with the meal , just 4 poorly wrapped sandwiches. incredibly...
Read moreAmazing!! USUALLY when I visit this place it's"dirty" - soft drinks area all wet and sticky, tables the same, and the food is usually lukewarm to freshly nuked. Because of these things I've stayed away for awhile but today I was quite hungry so I used my McDonald's app and went for the 2 egg McMuffin for $4. Well I was immediately greeted by one of the ordering machines that DIDN'T WORK!!! So I went to the counter and ordered same and a large cola and sat down waiting to be served - as is now the case - a number is assigned and a staff member will bring it to you instead of the Taco Bell version of yelling your number. I chose the unsweetened tea , since I don't like drinking syrup or whatever passes for sweet tea and within 2 minutes my McMuffins were presented. SURPRISE, they were so fresh and hot that the overlapping pieces of cheese had not yet melted into the paper - don't you just hate that?!! Since it has been quite a while since I ordered any egg McMuffins I started to laugh at the now incredibly shrinking size of the sandwiches! Once upon a time one of the "old time size" egg McMuffins was enough to enjoy as a "filling" sandwich but now, well, needless to say I ate both, thus causing me to realize that not only did I consume a bit more in calories but lose more money than a normal breakfast would cost - for a few more dollars I could go down the road to the Golden Corral and eat a lot more and ... well, enough said. At least the tea was good tasting. UPDATE - 10-10- 2024 APPARENTLY many of the restaurants have had a revamp and the few I've recently visited have more strict rules about cleanliness as they've been very clean. Now, as far as the recent $5 meal offer - its WORTH IT!! I usually choose the double hamburger which, I'm sorry is NEVER hot, just lukewarm, but still tasty. Good work on...
Read moreI’ve never really gone out of my way to leave a bad review to anyone but after my experience last night I felt it should be addressed and I’ll be emailing corporate as well being that I used to be a manager for a McDonald’s store and what I witnessed was completely unprofessional, I arrived at McDonald’s around 10pm and there was a small line in the drive thru window after sitting in the line for approximately 35 minutes I was told to come inside and order without given any type of explanation which okay no big deal at that point besides the point I was already irritated that I had to wait in line for 35 minutes when I went inside I figured it go by faster but instead I sat at the counter for about 15 minutes before I was finally helped. I could hear the manager I’m assuming I didn’t know her name but she was a older African American lady who was telling everyone to come inside and order, as I was standing there a Uber eats driver came in to pick up a order for another customer where this lady proceeded to bash the customer telling the driver that the customer is wasting the drivers time and that customer is to lazy to just come to the store to get their own food. I found this completely disrespectful as one she’s a manager and should be held to a way higher standard and two she doesn’t know the customer situation. They could be extremely sick or doesn’t have the luxury of driving like some other people have so they have to resort to delivery services. After receiving my food after a hour total of being st the store I got my fries were stale and not fresh at all and the buns from burger were stale mostly due to the fact that they got busy and but a bunch of buns into the warmer . As a former employee and manager of McDonald’s I was completely in shock and in disbelief to my experience...
