UPDATE:
Thank you for your prompt reply. I appreciate your willingness to address the issue, but I believe this situation warrants a more meaningful resolution. While resolving the billing error is important, I suggest that the best course of action would be for your establishment to donate the extra charge to a local food bank or charity.
This would not only rectify the error but also positively impact the community. I kindly ask that you provide proof of the donation through a receipt from the charity, which you could share on your social media platforms.
Thank you for considering this approach. I look forward to your response.
A few months ago, we visited Taqueria Y Antojitos el Chido Midlothian and had a rather frustrating experience that I feel compelled to share. While the meal itself was enjoyable, our visit has turned into an ongoing back-and-forth regarding billing that has left us disappointed. We paid for our meal with a credit card and left a cash tip. Shortly after, we received a receipt via the Square pay system confirming our payment. However, on the same day, we received another bill for the same amount, which also included an additional $10 tip. This meant we were being charged for the same meal twice and for a cash tip that we had already provided. The timestamps on both receipts were literally one second apart, raising the question: would we really eat the same meal twice in that time frame? It’s clear that there’s a significant issue with their register skills or bookkeeping that needs addressing. This isn’t about being unable to pay; it’s simply about not wanting to be charged for something we didn’t consume. I hope this incident is an anomaly rather than a reflection of the restaurant's standard practices. A bit of common sense and better training for staff would go a long way in preventing such errors in the future. I encourage the restaurant to review their records; they’ll find two charges for the same meal on the same day, only seconds apart. If they can resolve this, it would certainly improve their reputation with current and...

Hands down my new favorite taqueria! You can find this place right next to the gas station, with some tables and chairs for outdoor seating. I went here with my brother and his gf as they highly recommended this place. Needless to say, I have no complaints and the food was incredibly delicious.
The food: I decided to try the Beef Tongue, Suadero, and Al Pastor tacos. The beef tongue was hands down my favorite. It was cooked very well and almost melted in your mouth with every bite. The complimentary salsa verde and rojo added a nice spice to the tacos as well. The Al Pastor would be my second favorite and the the Suadero would be my third. I probably wouldn't get the Suadero again, as it was slightly drier than I'd like.
The service: The staff were friendly and was able to get our food out relatively fast. They were quite busy as there were people sitting in their cars waiting for their orders. they were able to get all the orders in a timely manner.
Overall, this is a definite 5/5 in my books. I'd highly recommend giving this...
Read moreI ordered carne asada and got some steak and barbacoa in both my tacos they mix the meats. I ordered two al pastor which was absolutely disgusting. I've also never seen a place that adds cabbage to their tacos, really weird. I know a lot of Hispanics live out here so I don't know why we're giving this place such a high rating unless it's the white people which is more understandable. Just threw some red salsa on the taco and I swear the red one is rotten or something. The green salsa was really good but otherwise let's get these people to really get some real cooks back there.
After taking a closer look at the reviews yes all the people giving it four and five stars are white and all the people giving it less than that are Hispanic that know what real authentic Mexican...
