After driving to several sit down restaurants in the area only to find long waits, we stopped by the Taco Bell at Lakesite to get something quick. Immediately upon arrival someone came up from the line and waited patiently while our children were being indecisive. The staff in the back were working hard and it was amazing to see because most fast food experiences aren’t really fast anymore with people just standing around, but not this crew. They were fast and efficient. Now, Taco Bell has always been a guilty pleasure of mine but I always felt like you never get enough meat on your tacos. Well, not this Taco Bell! My taco was full of meat and cheese. I was blown away! While we were eating the manager came off the line to clean the tables that had just gotten up to make sure the restaurant was clean for her next patrons. The place was tidy and well organized. I went to tell the manager what a great job they were doing and you could tell she was proud of her team and her store, as well she should be from our experience. The service rivaled Chick-fil-a and that is the standard that I judge fast food by. Great experience! They won our business from now on when we consider the fast food options...
Read moreRoll of the dice on whether you get good service here. They never fail to greet with “welcome to Taco Bell how are you?” I always say “fine, how are you?” Last time I just got silence. So I stayed silent myself for a solid minute or two before they asked “can I help you?” I guess any kind of greeting means I’m supposed to start ordering idk. Another time I ordered a meal with a drink. She gives me the meal and closes the window. I knew she had forgotten the drink. So I wait….I can tell she’s running that pie hole about me staying at the window, you can see a whole attitude change. Cars are backing up. After a few minutes she comes to the window and asks if something’s wrong to which I tell her she’s forgotten the drink. She angrily grabs a cup and ices it up and sticks it out at me. Never says a word. No apology, nothing. I guess I’m in the wrong for wanting what I pay for. I guess I’m a Karen for that one. The new term for anyone that has to complain about something. We are setting ourselves up as a society for mediocrity in customer service with the inability to ask for correction for fear of being...
Read moreFood was great! Took my 8 year old niece here for our date day (she loves TB so this is where she chose to go). Took a while to get our food but no biggie, we were just having a good time. We are sitting there eating when an employee comes up and asks if that is my car in the handicap spot. I said yes (I have tags and I am disabled). He said will you move your car to the back area so we can unload our truck? I said yes but I can’t just leave her sitting here while I go out. He said well the guy can’t just sit there waiting. I said I will move it as soon as she’s done eating. She started rushing and I made her slow down because we were on a date. So they angled the truck and started unloading it. He was not happy with me for not moving it sooner but it was around 8:30pm during business hours. I mean come on. Not sure if we will come back to this...
