McDonald's — Restaurant in Lakeville

As of this year I noticed this location cannot take orders. I made my order via drive thru, they repeated my order to me, I said thank you, and got the "my pleasure" response back from the lady that took my order. So I go yeah nothing can be wrong with my order usually when I get that response. Lady at first window cash register even repeated my order but with poor English. I declined having my receipt printed to me since they repeated my order twice now. Now second window I received my food. I ordered two happy meals. Received only one. Little lady at second window says there is only one on the order. So I looped back to make another happy meal order. First window again I asked the cash register lady didn't my previous order came with two happy meals as I have requested? Apparently she can't confirm with me. I have no problem looping around paying for another order IF I was not charged with two happy meals already. Manager dude comes up to me saying it's my fault for not taking my receipt..... wow. That is very professional. Pointing fingers right off the bat. So I asked did I pay for two happy meals? If not I'll pay for my second order. He goes no. Okay done deal should have been as simple as that. Paid for second order. Waited on parking space 1. They brought up my happy meal with no apple juice... I had to walk inside the store to get it. Worst experience ever. I miss the old crew. Manager dude looked so frustrated. The teenagers that were working had no clue what is going on while their manager is the only one hustling.

BTW this location have lots of kids working there now. I highly recommend taking your receipt as this was the second time I had ordering issues. Also speak super slow so they can take the orders. Sometimes you have to repeat...

Service at this location is poor, only to be matched by the attitude of the staff. I ordered via the mobile app, arrived and parked in spot 4. I sat there for 15-20 mins, then decided to go in. Upon walking in, I was not greeted and had to get someone's attention. As I explained my situation, 1 of the 2 young girls who were delivering food to people cars snipped “Well we have had a lot of cars.” and my reply was “Ya I have watched them arrive and leave in the time I was sitting out there!” She then proceeded to talk snippy under her breath. It was at this time a guy, I think he was the manager, came up and found out what order was mine and quickly said that they had to find more of the sauce that I requested. He then quickly finished assembling my order and handed it to me. I said thank you and he said nothing and quickly turned away. Much of my food was just sitting there for 15-20 mins. He looked stressed and hurried in his work so I just left. But he was doing the job of 3-4 people as others just stood around talking to each other and not working. Not once was someone polite. Not once did someone walk to my car and inform me of the status of my order. Not once was I thanked for my business. So I will take my business where it is appreciated. Had someone communicated with me or smiled at me or didn't have a snippy attitude with me, I would not be writing this review. I recommend that you also take your business to a McDonald's location that appreciates people for exchanging money for food and service.

Update since my last 5 star review, my opinion has changed. In the last week I’ve had my order done wrong twice. Last week I ordered a Deluxe Chicken Sandwich and when I got home noticed I had been given a Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. I hate spicy food. I tried eating it but it was too spicy and I ended up throwing half of it away. I thought “ok, one bad order in several month…” I just haven’t ordered a chicken sandwich since, instead going to KFC.. Today I ordered 2x 10 piece nuggets with honey. I got honey MUSTARD. Thankfully I had some left over KFC Sauce and used that instead. The honey mustard went in the trash. I’m going to give them another chance, but probably won’t be ordering too often from them. -2 stars now 3. Update End I read a few reviews before going here. I was a little unnerved as the recent reviews were bad, claiming raw burgers, “stail” [sic] fries, etc. but then I realized the people leaving them couldn’t spell (stale), or only had the one review or one in particular said she ate it in the parking lot and had a hard bun (but didn’t bother taking it in and complaining, just leaving a review?!?). Some said “go to Apple Valley instead,” but that location has treated me poorly and I won’t go back! Lakeville McDonalds gave me great service. I didn’t have to wait to be served in the drive-thru, they took my credit card and asked if I wanted a receipt (I didn’t) returning it in seconds and promptly got my food to me.
