HOT BAGELS — Restaurant in Lakewood Township

I would have given 4.5s (and was debating giving 5s because of the 1* reviews unnecessarily lowing the overall average). It's great for what it is. The food from the grill (looking at you breakfast burrito and breakfast special) is good, the prices are amongst the best in Lakewood, and the man behind the register has always been very pleasant and accommodating. They also have pastries, cookies, kokosh cakes, sourdoughs, salads to go, etc. Finally, they are quick (unlike some of the other shops in the area).

Where I feel they are lacking are the actual bagels. I don't know if it's because the breakfast special comes with a bagel, and they therefore choose a small one, but the bagels I've had were all small and they are par-baked. Because of that, I would not personally choose to purchase a bagel sandwich. Because a bagel store should excel in its bagels, I was forced to round down to 4s instead of up to 5s. That being said, I'll continue to come back for the non-bagel items.

Amazing food! I recommend the breakfast special! nice customer service, a few things to note: there is no seating, so if you want seating, and you want hot bagels, I suggest you go to the hot bagels on second street, (great place as well) Another small thing: I wasn’t too fond of their pricing for the iced coffee, it was $4.50 for a 12 ounce cup of iced coffee, and they didn’t even have the bubble covers where you can fit another 2 ounces, they had flat covers, so besides for that, place is great, nice and clean,...

Ordered Uber eats with this store. The tape wasn’t big enough on the bag and it was opened enough for someone to take things from my bag. Very disappointed. Next time seal the bag more. I didn’t get the orange juice we ordered- the Uber eats guy took it from the bag or you guys didn’t give it. Point is you didn’t seal the bag enough and now I was missing an order I payed for. Please do ur job next time and seal the bag with tape to the point where an Uber eats driver can’t steal our food....
