Village Pizza & Cafe South — Restaurant in Lakewood Township

This pizza shop has become one of the best pizza shop I have been to! Its run by family, really really nice warm and friendly service.

The food is amazing the pizza is perfectly baked to a crisp bottom with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The garlic knots the baked ziti the calzones the fries I can go on and on but u really just gotta go in there and taste it all yourself its amazing.

Another thing that's really great about this shop is the friendliness to the groups of kids that can walk in there with a few bucks from their folks and the lady behind the counter will help them decide what to buy for the amount they have available to spend. The amount of patients it takes to satisfy a group of 5th/6th grade boys is enormous and yet the cashier will sit there asking if they want this or that. Very impressive.

I am very thankful for such a good shop so close to home and I wish them lots and lots of hatzlacha. Other shop owners should go in there and just wait around and watch how it's done. You guys are great!!

I am from out of town and came to Lakewood for my midwinter vacation. I took my family to village pizza on the 9. Me and my family encountered many problems. 1. The food we ordered was spoiled and made my family all have a horrible stomach ache. 2. The owner was yelling at the workers in front of many customers and even fired one in front of us, that is unacceptable. Take the worker aside and then lay him off. 3. The cashier mistreated my aunt and dad. Ordered online, and he gave away our order to someone else. Accused us of lying. Tried to say that we never made an order. After showing proof, he proceeded to lay blame elsewhere. He's rude, obnoxious, and always on his phone.
