The manager/owner Kathy is extremely rude and unprofessional, she has no business running a Dairy Queen. I ordered a few blizzards on DoorDash, this store does not take special requests via DoorDash, sol immediately called the store after ordering, as suggested on the app. called within 30 seconds to have one of the blizzards changed to chocolate ice cream, that's it! She refused, saying they already started them and couldn't change it. 30 seconds after ordering.. Even if true, she can't start one over for a $30 order? Really? Then she proceeded to call me rude and told me wake would not fix it. I canceled my order, so she not only lost a sale of over $30, but had to dispose of both blizzards she already started not a good business decision. I certainly don't run my business that way. I'll never go to this location again! There are a lot of DQs,l recommend a...
Read moreI’ve come to this location for years but won’t be returning in the future and will be taking my business to another location. I came to DQ specifically for the 85 cent blizzard deal. First they couldn’t tell me the total until the window which possibly could have made this whole situation avoidable. The cashier forgot to take it off which fine I get happens but refused to void it and recharge us even though we paid cash so he wouldn’t even have had to run the card saying his manager doesn’t allow it. I probably wouldn’t have come tonight without the coupon so beyond frustrated I was charged the full amount. Literally any other place I’ve been to where a similar situation happens they are able to void the transaction and recharge even small businesses so beyond frustrated that this chain could not. Won’t be going to DQ for a while after this and definitely not...
Read moreI’ve been going to Dairy Queen my entire life and I order the same thing every single time. A vanilla cone with sprinkles. This was the first time I’ve ever been to this location. I ordered, pulled up to the window and the young female employee handed me a vanilla cone and a CUP of sprinkles. I asked her if she could do it for me… obviously. She told me, “we aren’t allowed to”. Provided zero explanation as to why this would even be a thing.
Highly confused by this experience and if that is true, they need to reconsider their policy. I’ve never had this happen before at any other DQ location. Expecting a driver that is sitting in their vehicle to pour messy sprinkles over their own ice cream cone or attempt to dip it and possibly have the ice cream fall off the cone, is absurd. Very curious is this is a real policy...if so would def...
