Leaving a review here as this bakery posted a private conversation between us on Instagram and then deleted my comments so that she had no accountability.
My MIL ordered cupcakes for my babyshower. We sent inspiration pics and had conversations about what was expected and flavors.
Day of babyshower, cupcakes were picked up - box taped shut, our own fault for not checking before leaving. Once we arrived at the venue and opened the box we realized they were not at all what was ordered, incorrect flavors, incorrect designs, overcooked and burnt on the edges.
We reached out to the bakery to express our dissatisfaction, she then proceeded to post our conversation on Instagram asking if we were a Karen and praising her own cupcakes.
In her posts she contradicts herself several times. She states that she received an inspiration pic and that they did the cupcakes as close as they could, but in another comment she said she didnât know what we wanted and we only gave a verbal description of desert flowers.
She also states in her text to us (with the screenshot she posted) that she didnât see the cupcakes before we picked them up because they were taped shut and asked us to send a pic, but then also states âwe all thought they were very prettyâ. Which one is it?
I am attaching the inspiration pics as well as what we received. Cupcakes were all different sizes, icing was very minimal, designs were not even close, edges were burnt and crusty, none of the guests even touched them, we paid $150 and ended up with zero desserts at the shower.

Read moreThis bakery seemed great from the reviews to the ordering process to the quick responses to all questions, but BUYER BEWARE! If your order unfortunately does not turn out as expected you can anticipate an immediate 180 degree about-face from the owner. Excuses, evasions, online castigation all await in what is sure to be your unsuccessful attempt for any kind of accountability or resolution.
Ordered cupcakes for a baby shower; they were a disaster: single flavor when three were ordered; decorations not anything like the photo I submitted; burnt and dry cupcakes that were essentially inedibleâŚmy 10-year-old granddaughter could have produced a more professional-looking and appealing dessert! Needless to say, NO ONE at the shower even finished eating one. But none of that was of any concern to the owner who, before even communicating with me about any of the details, posted online that I was a âKarenâ for complaining and accused me of badgering her to get free cupcakes! She did not return my phone call and completely disregarded the photos and emails I forwarded regarding my pre-order directions, saying through the entire process that she was âsorryâ for the confusion but of course not offering anything but excuses and deflections in return. Forget any kind of refund, she wouldnât even refund the $25 tip I paid! Take my advice and save yourself the frustration and disappointment of dealing with...
Read moreI ordered a cake and cupcakes for my sonâs 1st birthday. I got a confirmation email the night before I was supposed to pick them up saying they would be ready. I called morning of the party to try to confirm a time I could come pick it up, no one answered or called me back. So when I showed up to pick them up no one was home and then was told they had put the wrong date down (one week later). This left me to scramble to find another cake 2 hours...
