This was quite possibly the driest and most lousiest order of french toast I have eaten-EVER! When all said and done after ordering from grubhub I paid exactly $20.00 and waited over 45 min's to receive the food. I am all for food delivery service apps and people. This wasn't the delivery of food situation. This rest solely on the capability of the restaurant. The toast was so thick and dry and every drop of syrup soaked immediately into it thus making it sweet and dry and too thick to enjoy. As well, the flavor of the toast was nothing but a simple cinnamon sprinkle. Nothing at all to get excited about. My friend chose this place for us to grab breakfast before hiking at Red Rocks. This spot is hidden in a plaza but I was happy to make the effort to drive here. The customer service was awesome and they had several Bloody Mary combinations that I thought sounded tasty! I chose the 2+2+2 breakfast and substituted French toast instead of the pancakes. The French Toast was delicious! I absolutely love their scrambled eggs since they DO NOT add any water to it before cooking them, in comparison to other restaurants. Smh! The waitress was very nice and answered our questions with a smile. We did not have to wait long for our breakfast to arrive hot and steaming at the table. Sunrise sunset was fantastic. they have the best homemade breakfast there is. Their meats are really fresh their sausage is really really fresh and they have Italian sausage that you can use. They're pancakes are homemade and they have that down South country flavor just like they're gravy does and I'm from Kentucky and that's how I know they're coffee even has chicory in it. This is the best place you can get food, their servers are always nice. And they have to go or pick up take out and dine in. We constantly will get pick up from them and the food still is good even when we get home.
