Great spot—lots of good Mexican, Tex Mex, and even some non-Mex food. Everyone can get something they like!

We got the Queso Fundido appetizer—I loved it. Fundido/Flameado is my favorite food and it tasted almost as good as the Flameado back in Texas. Highly recommend that if you like Queso Fundido/Flameado/Choriqueso. It is kind of my “litmus test” food for Tex Mex and they passed with flying colors! (And, trust me, lots of places don’t pass—but they did!)

Oh, and if you’ve never had Queso Fundido, try it. It’s better than normal queso; it isn’t like a soup like normal queso, it uses proper stringy cheese. I assume they used Monterrey Jack or Oaxaca; it tasted like one of those two, but I’m no culinary expert. It comes with 2 large tortillas and you can use chips to scrape up anything left over.

The staff was helpful in recommending items. Our server (I forget his name, he was a man, very good by the way) recommended Birria tacos, chimichangas, and/or the fajitas. For the main dish I got the Birria tacos and my friend got the Chimichangas. Both of us were very happy with our selections!

The salsa with the chips was good. Had a good spice level—enough to add flavor, but not burning. They did ask my friend for spice level for his chimichangas and he said “hot” and they delivered. The chips themselves were normal/average, I assume pre-made not in house, but the salsa was very good.

The staff was accommodating to my white self practicing my Spanish too, lol! (I’m half Hispanic but I look like a white person, trying to learn my mother’s native tongue more!) Service was very fast and they were attentive with my diet soda addiction refills.

Worked out to about $30 per person (with the appetizer and non-alcoholic beverages); it’d be closer to $20 without that. Pretty standard & fair for a proper sit down experience like this, imho.

As a Texan transplant, I was very satisfied. I’ll have to try the fajitas next time! I’ll be back. This place is underrated; if I see people asking for suggestions on any forum I’ll name drop...

Horrible customer service. Food came quickly but after that, our waiter never came back to check on us. We wanted to add something to our order and when i finally flagged him down our entire table was nearly done eating. Never once came back to check on us. After we were all finished eating, we waited and waited for our check.. never came. When he finally came out of the kitchen again, I asked how do we pay. He said “I can do it here”. He took my card and came back with a receipt. I assumed we paid. We waited over 20 minutes after we finished eating including waiting for the check etc. We made it halfway out the door and 3 workers were following us out & just staring at us? I turned around to ask what was going on & they said I didn’t pay. Who knows what he took my card from the table for & why he told me “I can do it here” when I asked how do we pay. Don’t forget the auto gratuity @20% when the waiter doesn’t check on you a single time in 1 1/2 hours. $140 for 2 adults and 4 kids for almost inedible food and incompetent wait staff that apparently don’t have to wait on you because they are getting their 20% regardless of what they do or rather don’t do. Take your...

Thought we'd try this place since we were in the area and they have a patio. We ordered one burrito, a carnitas plate and a shrimp cocktail. The waitress Dora brought out the burrito, a carnitas burrito instead of a carnitas plate and didn't bring out the shrimp cocktail. When we let her know, she heavy sighed and said I'll be right out with it. The carnitas plate came out in about 10 minutes, The shrimp cocktail never came out. The two people I was eating with finished their food and she finally brought out the shrimp cocktail. I said never mind, my family is already done eating we're ready for the check. She said, do you want to take the shrimp cocktail home because I think the kitchen just forgot about it. I said no, it's hot out and shrimp does not travel well. There were no apologies about forgetting my lunch, she just walked away. We go out to eat so we don't have to cook and we are supposed to tip for the service we are there for. This service was unacceptable. We will...

I ordered the enchiladas suizas expecting the classic creamy green tomatillo sauce balanced with a bit of heat and richness from crema. Unfortunately, what I received was quite far from that. The enchiladas were smothered in green chile, which is a completely different flavor profile — much more bitter and earthy, lacking the tangy freshness that makes suizas so enjoyable. Also, instead of traditional shredded chicken, they used chicken tinga, which is typically stewed in a smoky chipotle tomato sauce. On its own, tinga can be great, but in this context it clashed with the already off-base sauce. The whole dish felt like a mismatch of elements that didn’t belong together. If you’re looking for authentic enchiladas suizas with a creamy verde sauce and light chicken flavor, this unfortunately isn’t it.

I had been wanting to give Jaime's a try as i know several people who really like it. I went, I tried, I'm good. It was basic mexican cuisine. Nothing made it stand out by any means. I was put off a bit when we tried to pay and the restaurant couldn't break a large bill. Not just unable to break a large bill but couldn't even bring $19.00 change back. We had to use credit in order to tip. It took longer to wait for sopapillas to go and to pay our bill than it did to order, get our food and eat it. It was an interesting dinner. To sum it up, food was ok, and service was ok. Go see what you think. Go.. eat, drink, and be kind
