Yoshinoya — Restaurant in Lakewood

I spoke with the cashier and submitted my to-go order. I requested no onions, beef broth on the side and added udon noodles. Pretty much the way I order every time. I waited for my meal for a short period of time and was on my way. I was excited to get back to my spot to share with my sweetheart and came to find out they forgot the rice and udon noodles. Bummer! I had to go back to get the missing items, rice was available and apparently they were out of udon noodles. A little disappointed as I paid extra for them. I wasn't even offered warm beef as my food was now getting cold. I was offered to come back the next day if I wanted the noodles. Pass. It wasn't a complicated order and if there wasn't any udon left, I should've been advised at the time of order. My overall experience was not up to par at this location. I also feel the portion for veggies was really small and was half full on the container. Not as promising as...

The fountain drink had a black piece of plastic or something come out of its dispenser. I ordered a meal with a side of clam chowder and the soup came out looking like cream of wheat with a very nasty taste to it. So I asked the counter if I can switch it since it taste horrible with a goyza. When I got the house it had burnt ashes all over it which tells me that they do not clean their cooking or drinking equipment at all. Such a horrible experience. Not crazy about this place. The food isn't that expensive as long as you have a coupon. There aren't a lot of menu options though. If you don't check your food before you go, all I have to say is, good luck. They almost always mess up your order. And it's not just me. I've seen this happen to so many people. Some of the food doesn't taste very fresh. Stale potatoes, stale rice. The only other good thing is that it seems clean. That and the coupon thing is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. I'm probably gonna come back here...
