I had some Good service and some bad service there this Time.
First of all, I am a former resident of Lancaster, Wisconsin. I have been eating at Happy Joe's Pizza since 1988.
I am also a retired Decorated 1st Lieutenant which is a Military Officer.
I am Sad to say that this is the first Time that I did NOT have a Good experience.
I was at this Happy Joe's Pizza location Yesterday, Monday, June 12, 1023.
The two Female Waitresses there were very polite and kind and they had manners.
However the male waiter there was rude and ignorant.
I ordered a Taco Pizza and I ate there.
I decided to be nice and polite and clean up my table myself. I was trying to help.
The male waiter went on a melt down and started complaining about how I should not put my dirty dishes on the counter and that I should just leave them on the table.
I apologized to him and I explained that I was trying to help and clean up my mess.
He walked into the back and he continued his meltdown and I could hear him complaining to the two Female Waitresses about this.
If he had something to say, then he should be a man and come complain to me, instead of being a coward and going to complain to the other employees there.
Second of all, This is not the way that you talk to somebody. That is not Good customer service.
As a person who served our country and who has fought for our Freedom and our Rights, I do not appreciate being talked to with such disrespect by some puke bucket who looks like he is still in High School.
If you want respect, then you treat people with respect.
Thank You to the two Female Waitresses who were respectful to me and they treated me with kindness. At least I received kind...
Read moreWe discovered this place about a year ago and my Son absolutely loves this place. The staff makes us feel welcomed and appreciated which to is is the best part because my son suffers from Autism and is considered non verbal. They know what he likes and how he likes it served and always greets us in a friendly fashion as well as offers great conversations before, during and after our meal. This is the ONLY pizza place my son will eat all his pizza and insists on the only place to go when on Lancaster. Their food is tasty, the atmosphere is inviting, the nostalgic arcade games give it that happy feeling since it feels very 80's to me. They have some Sirius XM "Blend" music in the background, which too is another reason why my son loves this place. One of the workers named Joe, not the Happy Joe, but happy nevertheless is always cheerful, friendly and serves us with a smile and fun conversations. The other customers seems to enjoy the experiences as well and we see many repeat customers since we visit this place weekly. Have not ever been to the other franchise locations so no comparison of this location but my son is happy so that is what is the most important thing to me. Keep up the great service and food Happy...
Read moreThe food is typically good BUT the service is always beyond terrible. Due to the lack of areas to eat in Lancaster, we typically order from Happy Joe's a decent amount. The only reason we come back is cause the food is great but again... the service is always terrible. They tell you it'll be 20 minutes to come pick up your food, so I show up 25 minutes after I placed the order and they only just started making our order when we showed up. After finally getting our food after waiting an additional 30 minutes our food was underdone. The fries were soggy, the garlic bread was still cold and the noodles for our pasta wasn't even done. Unbelievable. Also, the online ordering is always a mess. I've ordered online a couple times, each time hoping it'd improve but there's been multiple times where my order will never come through and their excuse to not being able to find the order is because their owner is the only one that knows how to access the system and he's always "unavailable." I never write reviews but good god, get it together...
