Kee’s SubHub (Deli) — Restaurant in Lancaster

March 2025 - Update*

I have returned to this establishment since my prior review and the service was excellent as I had experienced in another visit. My daughters also returned separately and purchased sandwiches and were in love as I knew they would be. While I was there I was using my card to pay and a customer who was there with his family thought I was having trouble paying offered to pay for my lunch. I politely declined as that was not the issue but it was a very sweet gesture. It was also their first visit and they were enjoying his meal. Food and services were on point and the lady serving me was awesome!!!!!!

I have visited Kee's Subhub before and found the service and the food to be fabulous! I had told my daughters who are home from school about them and so they were excited to try their sandwiches as well. We drove over there yesterday 6/28/24 to place an order. There were two signs on the door that stated their hours of operation. One stated they were open to 7pm and there was another sign that stated for this week only they were open until 6pm. We arrived at 5:38pm and were turned away by someone on the phone waving us away as we entered their establishment. I asked if she was saying that they are closed and she nodded her head and continued talking on the phone. We were truly disappointed because I had bragged on their food and service. I ordered thru an app for 2 surprise bags. I didn't know what to expect, however I definitely didn't expect this. It was roughly $22 for $60 worth of food. If this is what is sold to customers for that price you should reconsider eating there! Let me just say, I've used this app for other restaurants several times with great results & this is my 1st bad experience. I think what we received was 2 sandwiches cut into several smaller pieces & 2 small bags of cheetos. The bread was very dry with very little meat. We tried to eat the food but it was so bad we threw it in the trash and went to Jersey Mike's!

Update: For some reason I couldn't respond to the owner so I'm editing my original review. I got 2 surprise bags which I stated above. I spent roughly $22 for $60 worth of food. That is the $10.81 you stated times 2 which is roughly $22! Now the app says for that price each surprise bag was worth $30. Multiply that by 2 is $60. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kee’s and it was an experience to remember. This Black-owned gem stands out not only for its delicious food but also for its warm and welcoming atmosphere.
