When I entered this place with my girl I noticed people staring at my spouse not noticing she was with someone until I spoke up causing me to get angry momentarily. I don't take staring as a compliment. However after a few minutes of being inside I recognized a song that they were playing over the radio as a song of praise which allowed me to reflect and calm myself from pursuing my personal feelings that was caused by the people staring at my girl and turn my anger into an attitude of understanding and gratitude. People are not perfect. The song playing: Revelation Song by Kari Jobe. Perfect timing for this song to be playing because I recognize at that moment that the place I was in was a business that glorified God and maybe the guys who were staring may have just been customers not employees. I had to remove my shoes spiritually because where I was standing was holy ground. And the man who served us was obviously a brother in Christ. I ordered my cake for my birthday and asked for a marble cake since that was one of the options given to me and custard in the center which was also another option that was given to me. When I cut into my cake on the night of my birthday it was all vanilla and the filling was whipped cream alot of whipped cream. When I called to let them know, they told me that since the cake left their hands already that they can only offer me 5 dollars for their mistake. I got charged 200$ for this cake which was not only done with the wrong colors but was also given to me melting, falling apart and stained. I placed my order an entire month ahead to avoid this issue and the owner/baker didn’t care.
