We were so excited to finally to visit this restaurant. We treating our neighbors for help they had given us. First, the atmosphere was a definite improvement from the previous restaurant at this location. Bright, airy with friendly staff. But, the food was not to our taste. My Mom's family is from North Carolina and Kentucky so southern food is my love! The sides, cole slaw, macaroni salad, biscuits, and applesauce are served family style which I thought was great. My husband and I were going to share the fried half chicken and was told we'd be charged $14 for a vegetable plate because I would be eating from the subpar sides that are served family style. The best things I tasted were the sweet tea and green beans. Good thing I like sauerkraut because that is basically what...
