Let’s first start out with how recently before I go to work I wanted to get coffee and I see the parking lot is empty and people in the wawa, a few days ago at 7:00 am I go in and the cashier says we are closed?? Then I walk out and a girl tells me that they only do mobile orders from 7:00 am to 7:30 am so now I can no longer get coffee before work in the morning, this is the closest wawa to me in the neighborhood, I don’t have time to go anywhere else in the morning to eat before work, I’m hearing it’s because of the high school kids, if you can’t handle a crowd of people at the store or have the staff then you shouldn’t be a store, this wawa needs to close down to be honest. In general, the wawa is never stocked and they never even have basic things like candy? Milk? Powerade? Pretzels? And it doesn’t matter what time a day I go they never have anything in shock or anybody working at register and it’s very unkempt and dirty when I go in there, dirt on the milk, dirt and trash on the floor, Carrier and stocking carts layed out all around the floor which is a dangerous and hazardous without anyone accompanying it. They need to rethink about the staff there or close until they can provide a normal store service. Went there to get eggs once and they were moldy and cracked, ice cream exploded in the fridge, never breakfast sandwiches in stock. It’s actually pathetic at this point that I have to go to the wawa in Clifton heights which is out of the way and 15...
Read moreI placed an order through doordash and was contacted and advised by THE FIRST carrier that they had no chicken other than chicken strips. I had ordered a buffalo chicken cheesesteak by the way. So that person cancelled my trip to pick up my food and it was given to this really nice and patient man to pick up my food from the same location. I spoke with him and he restated that they do not have any chicken and if i wanted anything else. He put me on speakerphone to relay a new order to the associate and he wrote it down. At this point my food had been waiting to be made for twenty minutes. My doordash guy called me back about 15 minutes later to say they still have not yet made my new sandwich choice. Be spoke to the manager and associates and they stated the reason was because they have to go in order of whats on the screen. My thing is, if my order had to be changed and i gave a new order, why was it not made in that moment being as though my doordash guy already been waiting for 30 minutes at this point. The manager eventually stepped in to make sure they made my sandwich and my beverage was never made or received. I have never had such a hard time just to get my food given the circumstances of them not having the items in stock. It was just a lot and i felt bad for my doordash guy was also not...
Read moreIf you make it to this location alive you will notice how your instantly on the set of a mad max movie. This place truly gives an "end of the world" atmosphere. Dirty, never stocked and if it is stocked it has expired milk that's 3 days past due. You have to pay for your fountain drink at the register so the cashier can give you the cup. Local hangout for the homeless and the parking is atrocious. Employees are on their phone more than I am while standing in line. Dirt surrounds the fan area where pastries are kept. You instantly get the impression that this location has zero management. Review updated 8/28 with the expired milk picture. The only sympathy I have is for the very select few employees that deserve a better location to work at...yet again they are the only lifeline this location has to help the dying atmosphere this location has. The one star rating is fir the select few employees who are great. It's always nice to see the long arms of the local city reach out further and further by the day....
