Friday went for lunch and asked for the â$9 discovery boxâ which includes two slider crunchwraps. The guy at the drive through said they discontinued that box although the signs are all still up. The following Sunday my buddy went and ordered, and received the claimed âdiscontinuedâ box. So today I go to order it again and the same guy from the week prior claimed again it was discontinuedâŚsigns still up, and clearly lying as other shifts will make it, but evidently this guy or the daytime shift is too lazy or unwilling to make it.
Also witnessed a girl pick up loose pieces of taco meat from the line table and put them back into the container of meat. We all know itâll be hit or miss, and we all know is a borderline sinful thing to eat here but we always try it anyways. Annoying to be lied to by staff that doesnât want to do their jobs. Cleanliness and safety shouldnât come second. But staff that canât be bothered to fulfill orders correctly, itâs no surprise theyâre cutting corners in other places too. I donât expect the floor of a fast food kitchen to be squeaky clean, but when I pulled up to the drive thru I thought someone must have just accidentally dropped a bag of trash. Then I saw that they had multiple overflowing trash cans. They were busy, and I understand that losing someone for a moment during the dinner rush while they take the trash out can throw everyone off. But to allow garbage to accumulate all over the floor like that is unacceptable.
The window employee had my order wrong, thankfully another employee corrected her.
I was hungry, so I ate my food despite seeing the kitchen mess. It tasted a little off. I havenât had Taco Bell in years so I assumed maybe I misremembered how some items taste. Ever since they added the ordering kiosk the workers never even check the main point of sale to the point of where it took 3 minutes to get their attention. And once you finally do get serviced they are rude and treat you as an inconvenience. Seccond, the mobile ordering system. DON'T USE IT. You mobile order so that it is ready once you get there, but they use this "check in system" which completely ruins the point of mobile ordering. With all of this it took me 30 minutes of waiting in the store to get my small order. Once I finally got my order they shorted me half of it. Which caused me to again go back in and be treated as an inconvenience and wait another 15 minutes.
