According to the brochure: “In 1993, the AHC and the UW Art Museum moved into the award-winning Centennial Complex designed by acclaimed architect Antoine Predock.” I find the architecture of the building interesting but I am not fond of how one moves through it. The spaces are awkward and seem jammed at places yet too open at others.

I m here for matthew shepard'😭😭😭😭 On October 7, 1998, Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old student at the University of Wyoming, was brutally attacked and tied to a fence in a field outside of Laramie, Wyoming and left to die. On October 12, Matt succumbed to his wounds in a hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado.

This is my second visit to this sensational university art museum. There are many treasures in the collection—like this selection (the red woodblock print by Faith McManus is exquisite). My favorite part is the exceptional work by student artists.

A great university art museum with many rotating exhibits. And it's free with very easy parking. Be sure to visit the galleries of the attached American Heritage center which have many unique historical Western paintings.

Very fun art museum! Loved the alumni artwork and they had a Picasso when I visited. Connor at the front desk was very welcoming and informative, will definitely revisit!
