University of Wyoming Art Museum — Attraction in Laramie

it’s free, which is great! and the ladies at the front desk were very nice. but it is very small. half of their current selection just didn’t speak to me (although there were a handful that were lovely), so we only spent 15-20 mins walking around. the stan lee exhibit on the other side had some videos/seating, so we stayed in there a bit longer! but i think that exhibit ends Nov 1. I’ve read some mixed reviews about this museum: “It’s small and not worth going to,” or “The artwork is beautiful, a must-see!” In my opinion, art is a matter of opinion. A wondeful art musuem! First of all, it's free! It's amazing that anyone can come here and experience some wonderful art and also learn at the same time. When I went here they had an exhibit dedicated to the women of Wyoming who have accomplished great things within the community. Its was very educational and really broadened my knowledge of such influential and generous women.
