Coffee is good- high quality. Normally I dont complain, but every time I've been to either Coal Creek (coffee part) the bar is another story, I've had a bad experience both Uptown and Downtown. Staff is typically slow and unfriendly. One time I stopped by for a quick drip coffee before work, but it took 20 minutes for two people to make 3 drinks for the people in front of me, and I had to leave before getting my drink, luckily I didn't spend a ton of money on that one, but it was silly how slow they were moving. A few times I've had my coffee burnt, and I've been charged a questionable $6 and $4 for a shot in the dark which I can get for $2.25 at The Grounds where staff is friendly, quick, and consistent in their barista skills (I've never had a burnt coffee from The Grounds). The bar Downtown is absolutely great; I've had nothing but great service and...

Today, I was disappointed by the service and training of the staff. I had envisioned enjoying a warm croissant and cappuccino together. The croissant came in a timely manner. The cappuccino took over 20 minutes (at a time with fewer than 10 customers in the restaurant). The croissant was cold by the time the coffee was served. When I reminded the staff I had other items in my order they were surprised. They had lost track of them and did not know how to make the Orange Slider we ordered. Thankfully, they canceled this item when we asked them to and refunded our money. Their service and and quality of the baked goods is sliding...

The coffee is good. Like, it was a really good latte. Here's why I gave this place one star:

2 employees, one at the register, one making the drinks and food. No gloves, no masks.

Line out the door. No masks, no one cleaning tables.

40 minutes later, I finally got my latte. It cost $7 without the tip. My daughter got a cold panini and a dirty chai. Couldn't get a box for the half she didn't eat. Couldn't drink the chai, it was so spicy. $20.

This place is very poorly managed. If you're going to make money hand over fist, get some more help in there to make it worth the money your customers...

I was disappointed during my recent visit to this location. I ordered a pretzel expecting it to be served with salt and butter as it is at the downtown location, but it was not. Additionally, I found the service to be lacking; the staff at the cash register did not meet the friendly standards I've experienced previously. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration to improve the quality of both the product and customer service.

First time in any Coal Creek location, I browsed the menu beforehand and decided I wanted to try one of their breakfast bagel sandwiches. Their website stated the bagels are hand-made, hand-knotted in-house and oh my goodness was it delicious! It was chewy and crispy and all things delectable. I will definitely be back for the tasty sandwich and the calming atmosphere.

First I will say that my wife liked her latte but, $6, wow. I asked about the croissants. I wanted to see what a $5.80 croissant looked like. I still don't know. I ordered a small light roast drip and boy was it small and it must have sat on the burner for an hour and half. Yeck! Also, the girl at the register had an attitude.
