Taco Palenque Zapata Hwy. — Restaurant in Laredo

As my followers know this is one of my fave places to go. However, this location poorly serves its orders and as anyone that has visited Taco Palenque's Locations their prices are quite expensive. On this last visit to the TP Hwy location the salsas bar had something rotten and the smell was too strong. My super quesadilla was poorly served and the beef fajita was not freshly made. Overall, I would recommend followers if they want to have a good fajitas' taste in Laredo,TX to go instead to Taco Tote.

I was excited by the prompt response from the owner; sadly after several attempts to get in contact with the number provided was a waste of time. Nobody responded for a couple of intents, then when someone answered I was left on Hold for a while until whoever that had me on Hold Hang up. I was FURIOUS so I decided no to respond before or edit this review because I believe all reviews should be nothing but a constructive Feedback to make our communities better. I do have high expectations for restaurants and any other professions because we should do our best with everyday showing our passion for what we do. I am Hurt to the idea I won't be buying anymore at TP unless I am back at University BLVD TP in SA which is in my opinion the best in food quality, portion, cleanliness, excellent customer service, fresh salsas, and atmosphere. I am not lying, but your super beef FAJITA quesadilla was a DELICIOUS ROUTINE TO ME. From buying a minimum of 5 to 10 weekly plus once a week taking breakfast for all of my assistants was part of my routine.

If you would like to reply, I will appreciate you do so through here that way the reviewers can see what to expect. Once again, like I said I do this with the purpose of having the same service in all areas (quality of food, portions, cleanliness, service, amicably employees, into others) just like you do in TP on UTSA BOULEVARD. I still have a 5 starts on such TP because it is exceptional, but in my philosophy I believe TP being originally born here in Laredo, TX should have higher expectations regardless of its zip code. Prices are the same so generally all should be above expectations.

I Online ordered parillada for 4 with fajita and sirloin, as well as two other mixed parrilladas with the half off special that includes sirloin and chicken fajita for 3. Pick up was a long wait. After waiting for way past the pickup time i got my order and headed home when i got home i checked the food and realized that the parillada for four which was supposed to have sirloin and fajita was ALL chicken fajita. The pico de gallo was literally frozen for all three of the parrilladas . it would be okay if the pico de gallo being frozen was the only problem but i paid for something that i didnt get i tried calling the store to see if i could get it sorted out but no one answered. It was definitely not worth the money nor the drive we all know taco palenque is expensive i just wish the price matched...

Worst customer service. I went to pick up my order that I had ordered 30min prior. I was told to wait on the side while 3 other vehicles passed by and I kept waiting for my order. I had to call 5x to finally get an answer by a rude employee that barely said anything. I was finally turned in my order and the employee did not say a word and just walked away. I get home to finally eat my food and my burrito was sloppy and I had ordered extras and didn’t get anything. I was still charged for the extras. The frustration was so much that I had to go through the calling process AGAIN but I gave up, I got no answer. Also what is the point of picking the salsas on the app if they’re going to give you whatever they want anyway. Taco Palenque customer service going...
