I know these times are hard on employees; COVID-19 has greatly increased the number of online/mobile orders and the lines for curbside pick-up and drive-thru orders are crazy. However, when you schedule the pick-up time for your order a couple of hours in advance (I learned that choosing the ASAP option wasn't working out at this location, it meant you had to wait some 40 minutes) and then you get there and it's still not ready or there are 10 vehicles ahead of you, that's just unacceptable (if I ask that it be ready for pick-up at 5 p.m., I shouldn't have to wait more than a few short minutes). Maybe they need more staff, maybe they need to be better organized, but seeing how drive-thru and curbside will be the way for the foreseeable future, they need to get a handle on this at this particular Whataburger. The 2nd time, they were going to give me some other lady's app order, then had to work on mine, but forgot my extra gravy. This last time was the final straw. It took 30 minutes after I placed my order for it to be ready. I got to the restaurant 10 minutes after I placed the order and the place was not busy. Read moreI wrote down my order and repeated it word by word to the cashier. She and the other employees were great. My order was taken down just as I wanted it, EXCEPT I asked for FRESH fries. So, we told a young man about the fries being cold, he apologized and took it back. The working manager Yvonne came back with the SAME FRIES!!!!! Of course, they were even colder at that point. Mom and I didn't even bother complaining because that alone was upsetting, we didn't want to ruin dinner by getting even more upset. We had a sloppy burger with cold fries.
