So, this is a hard one. This is my newest and closest neighborhood bar & grille. I'd really like to see it succeed. First, let me say that I've watched many establishments come and go from this location, and I love that they are "all in" with a fresh remodel. I'm sure they spent a small fortune both inside and out because it's leaps and bounds beyond what Average Joe's looked like. Well done, guys! For me, I just refuse to spend 16 for a burger, and that is without a side. A small order of fries was an addition 5 bucks. This sports bar is also missing draft beer selections, so I settled on a bottled ipa for 8 bucks. My wife had a well bourbon in a plastic thimble for 7 bucks. We tried a popper appetizer after being told that they were huge and house made. Great! Let's try it! When they came out, they were anything but what was described. There were four 2" long poppers for 7 bucks. For us, it was a disappointing first impression. I know these guys need to price accordingly to recover what they put into the place. I just don't know if the demographic of the area will allow these post covid prices. For what it's worth, I would suggest adding a draft selection with some local craft beers. Maybe a daily special on food and perhaps serve sandwiches with a side... even if it's with chips. Btw, a pic of the menu was already posted in an earlier review. The menu has now been updated with a price increase. Idk, maybe a decent grand opening encouraged them to bump prices prior to us showing up. Anyway, I won't give up on JRs just yet. Hopefully, they will adjust a few things and be here for...

What a great space! I only had an appetizer, but it was great and this sounds weird, but their coke from the soda gun was so good and fresh..I literally, noticed it. If you've been in the business you know sometimes, oftentimes, this is not the case.
The atmosphere was welcoming, accommodating, clean, comfortable (tiny bit chilly, but all good) and the service, attention (hospitality) was fabulous! I had 30 years in the business (owner and bartender) and that says a lot coming from me!
Not sure of bartender name (long brown hair), but she was great, as was the dude who cleared our plates / ran food. The dude ( floor manager?) was also top tier!
I saw people next to me order wings, they looked amazing and so did their key lime pie!
For all yall complaining about nO DrAfT bEeR šš- hush. For all yall complaining about prices...I actually was expecting something crazy after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised...not pricey...AT ALL.
Anyway - I wasn't asked to write this, I know no one who works here etc This is my experience and my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent this past Sunday to watch football. Our waitress( canāt tell you her name because she didnāt introduce herself ) just walked up and said āwhat do you want to drink?ā When asked what they had she responded with āoh we have a lot of beersā. But when asked if there was a menu or she could tell us what they were she sheepishly said oh no we have no beer list. And could only name bud, bud light , yuengling. Thatās not āa lot of beersā. Also there were two football games on at 1pm playing on multiple tvās. When asked if we could get another game she told us no, the tvs are programmed and canāt change. So when the question came up if any of the other 1pm games were going to be put up she said I donāt know, they are working on it.
After then waiting 10 minutes for our bottles of beer and the waitress wasnāt in sight and the games had not changed. So we decided to go. It was not busy at all and she should have brought us our beers and been able to tell us what was going on instead of disappearing.
Overall was very disappointed due to reviews I read online how this place was great. I probably will not be back or recommend it...
