Waffle House — Restaurant in Largo

The cook was absolutely amazing with everything, hes extremely polite with the customers and while he cooks he starts asking customers how was their day and just carrys on a positive conversation with the customers because the black lady that was serving was very rude and looked really mean toward everyone and we litterly had to get her attention so she can get more drinks or add to our order and I asked for white tost and she brought me raisin toast because the cook accidentally made too many raisin toast for my boyfriend. Then she charges me for the toast witch went in the trash cause I needs white toast to soak up my egg yolk.. The conch was very great though he always is if I could give him zero being the worst 100 being the best he would get 110 but the lady server would be a 0 .. I would recommend people to eat here because it's always the 2 same Cooks and they r great and quick service The cook seen how the rude lady was doing so he took over her job and his. I just wish someone would get the server we had out cause of the bad attitude. We gave the cook her tip as well as the original tip we had for him because she didn't help us with nothing at all ... I don't think the server will be there long so don't let the crazy lady be the reason for...

Clean, piping hot, probably best WH around .. BUT

They charged me $4 for soda water the other late night. It’s not about the money, I can afford it, it’s the principle. I always tip 30~50% and up since I used to be a server. The price of WH has gone up so now it’s $15 to eat 2 eggs and some minced potatoes with two pieces of toast and 3 bacon slices. Insane. Not worth it. Anyway, I usually get a $12-13 bill and leave a $20, making it a $ 50-70% tip. When I saw they were trying to be greedy and charge for water; which I took about 3 sips of, I decided I wouldn’t be leaving any more than 15-20% tip max. My bill which was always $12-13 was $16.50 for potato’s and eggs and water. I left the rest in tip, but I would have been $8 if someone’s greed hadn’t gotten in the way. Shameful if you ask me.

I used to be a server who eventually made it. I tip well and am generous until people try to take advantage of me or assume something. With the current extreme price raise, and that little scheme, I’ll be cooking at home from now on....

I have not been to the Ulmerton Road Waffle House in a few years. This was my first time going back to that location to see if it had changed for the better. And I have to admit that the service I was given, the attentiveness of all employees at the time, in the atmosphere overall on a scale of 1 to 10 was in fact a solid 11. Compared to a few years ago where I would have given a rating of 2 out of 10 points possible. The cook at the time was very on-point and made the experience overall an awesome one. She was amazing on how well she cooked my steak to the point of being perfect on temperature and taste. The T-bone literally melted in my mouth like a freshly made piece of fudge full of taste and tenderness. This cook named Steph is phenomenal both she and the server has change my view of that location from my two experiences 3 years ago. My name is Nathan Williams and I stand behind my review 100%. P. S. To the general manager of the Ulmerton store this cook and the server deserve a raise or at the very least a couple days...
