Cocina Mexicana Express — Restaurant in Las Cruces

I placed my order of one burrito at the food truck. After 15 minutes, I asked if it was ready. They said not yet. I waited another 15 minutes watching people that had arrived and ordered after me getting their orders. I asked again. She looked baffled, asked for my name and what I had ordered. No apology was offered. No explanation as to why or how my order was forgotten. They were going to "start" on it. Very upsetting experience, especially since I had been there 15 minutes earlier asking and she said it wasn't ready, she could have asked what I had ordered then if it had gotten lost! I Ieft...

Fantastico! I come out to Las Cruces about 10 days a year, always looking for great food. I live in southern california where you can ALWAYS find great mexican food. In New Mexico it's a TexMex, which is good but different. Cocina Mexicana (northern Las Cruces/ Radium Springs) had great red and green chile (I got both) carnitas plate, thick tortillas, real avocado, fresh pico de gallo, excellenté rice and beans. My first time ordering from Cocina Mexicana Express!!! Saw the reviews and went for it. So happy I did this place does not disappoint. I ordered off grubhub. Green enchilada plate, salsa y tostadas, with a ice tea. Green enchilada sauce was good! Not too spicy. The tea tasted fresh. And they even through on a delicious burrito for me to try. I was so happy to eat that I did not even have a chance to take a picture. Both salsa's red and green are real good. Tostadas are tasty too. Can't wait to dine in...
