We had heard good things about Ranchway BBQ for a while but just hadn't made it there until now. The outside is very deceiving but we were pleasantly surprised as the place was clean and it was busy busy... right at lunch time.

We had a really good experience. Since it was our first visit it took a bit of getting used to because you order at the counter and then take a seat to wait on your food. It was a little interesting because they don't take your name or give you a number but they did do a good job of keeping track of us.

The chips and salsa was really good. They start you out with a small bowl of chips and salsa and we quickly went through those..but a trip to the counter was all it took to cheerfully get more. The salsa had a little kick of hot but not too much, just perfect for us.

Barbara got the ground beef taco plate with rice and beans. She had a choice of soft or crunchy tortillas and she got the crunchy. Felt they were the store bought kind but that was okay. Her tacos were filled full with meat.. not just a little in the bottom.. lots of meat! She really liked them.

I got my favorite and that is Ground Beef Enchiladas with green sauce. Like Barb's they were stuffed full of ground beef.. no skimping on the beef. Lots of white jack cheese on top. They only thing that I could have used more of is the green chile sauce which seemed way to light for my liking!

Everything was hot and fresh and we both ate way too much and paid the price rest of the day... ha ha. But we will certainly...

Ok still love the food, but can you please bring back the young man that was at the register It's been a while since he's been there I wish I remembered his name, (maybe late 20's to mid 30's). He was very nice, fast, and so polite. I went in today to get lunch (phone order) I don't like to skip the line so I waited in line, a homeless man kept trying to talk to me I was trying not to be rude, kept getting on my phone he was standing right next to me, (so uncomfortable) I stepped forward so did he. Finally asked for $ I gave him some. I asked the man in front of me If I could please stand infront of him, I was very uncomfortable, thankful he said yes. The young lady at the register started giving people wrong orders, she was frustrated BUT Ranchway is always busy, so she should be used to it right? She had to correct the orders and started cursing in Spanish (I understand whatever) it took so long gor her to straighten out orders, so a young man steps up to the register, he takes the man's order ( man who I asked if I could please stand infront of him) and totally ignores me, but sees another lady and hands her an order. I finally interrupted the young lady and asked for my order, by the time I actually got the plate I was fighting tears, I was so uncomfortable my personal space was invaded, this young lady was so confused. Still like the food BUT not going back alone. 3yrs ago Fast service! Good...

What is happening to Ranch Way? Had a terrible experience today with what is normally one of my favorite dishes, rolled chicken enchilada plate, It was a to go order. When my husband checked it, it was the wrong order, he brought it to their attention so they took it back to rectify it. What I received looked nothing like my regular order, this looked like they had taken the wrong order which was flat cheese enchiladas and they put chicken and cheese on top, stuck it in the micro wave, doubled the container because the original styrofoam had become blistery and holey . Heating food in a styrofoam container is totally wrong, please read the below:

It is not safe to microwave this most-common type of Styrofoam. During normal use, the material remains stable. But at high temperatures, it begins to melt or break down. Even if there's no visible damage on the foam, a microwave oven may cause the toxic chemical styrene (among other chemicals) to leach into your food.

If this is a practice of Ranch Way, you are poisoning people. This is a NO, NO. Please educate your staff. What a bad practice.

What a disappointment with a place that normally is a favorite of mine. Look at the blistery holey, stained melted styrofoam container....
