APP USERS AND VALUE HUNTERS BEWARE! Sonic is engaged in deceptive and misleading marketing. If you want to take advantage of something, say like the 1/2 price Tuesday cheeseburger offer, better plan on getting there EARLY! After receiving two notifications during the day, I went to order on the app at about 8:30. I received the following message: "Pre-orders not available at this location" and directed my order to Anthony, 24 miles away. Turns out the reason why was "We're running short in food so we can't take pre-orders." AND they couldn't give the discount on either the cheeseburger or slushy which is also half-price when ordered through the app. To add insult to injury, EVERY SINGLE SONIC IN LAS CRUCES SHOWED THE SAME MESSAGE! How is it that every single location had the same food shortage issue? BY DESIGN! Read on: SOOOO..."short on food" only applies to app orders where there is a discount. Meanwhile, per Joanna (who provided excellent, friendly and courteous service even though I was visibly upset) they could make both of them for me (at 9:15 when I made it back) BUT ONLY AT FULL PRICE! IMAGINE THAT! But don't worry fellow consumers... corporate has been called and if not resolved to where we're not being misled and deceived, then if you have and use the app, look for a class action lawsuit notification in your mailbox in the not-so-distant future for I will not let this stand. This type of corporate greed and blatant deception is unacceptable.

Other than the friendly service, extremely disappointing visit. First the mixing machine was broken so no much desired milkshake. Then the service was FAST. TOO fast and I should have known. Read more0 stars I am disgusted with the service I was given by the manager tonight on Valley in Las Cruces. I understand that they were busy, but I have never been treated by a manager like that before, much less laughed at by other employees. I was refused the name of the manager and the store number so I could complain properly. I understood that they were busy, I was willing to wait, but please acknowledge someone waiting after 5-7 minutes at the micorphone, not including all the additional wait time which in total was about 25 minutees After I told my husband I was upset and probably used an unsavory word, ( I saw the employee with their headphones around their neck not on there heads listening) The manager finally responded by saying "You're done and so is your mouth. Leave and don't come back again." I was told I would not be serviced and to leave now. He came out and yelled at me that he was the manager and I was told to wait and would be given the information requested, however when I pulled forward, through the drive thru he visibly locked the door and then window When it was open again, everyone else was served behind me. I attempted to document who the offenders were so that on Monday I could complain and I was told by the manager that I was not allowed to do that and the cops were being called. He refused to give me any information.... Really? I am certainly not done being upset about this. Read moreI buy at sonic very often and I've worked for sonic before. I've also been in the service industry my whole life and I'm not a complainer as I know when it's busy it gets hectic. On this day it wasn't busy I got there at about 2:05pm to the drive-thru. I'm still a patient person so I didn't mind the wait but There was 2 cars in front of me and I sat there waiting to ger my order taken while I watched the 2 girls with headsets laughing and talking. The 2 cars drive off and I'm still sitting there waiting. When one of them finally "took my order" I wasn't greeted, I was able to order 2 drinks and then stopped getting a response. I then see the girl lean on the drive thru window and she's just leaning there talking and she never finished getting my order so I finally drive up to the window and she's still leaning against the window with her back to me and talking to others who are facing me but they look like they could care less. When she finally opens the window she hadn't even put my order in.
