Fry Dayz Fish And Wings — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Let me start by saying that I really wanted to give your restaurant more stars but that wouldn't be an honest personal rating. I went to Frydayz on 1/26/2021 and placed an order. I ordered the two piece fish meal, I asked for catfish. I also ordered a side of shrimp, a spaghetti sandwich meal, 2 peach cobblers, 1 banana pudding, and a coca cola. I was told that my order would be 30 minutes but I received my order almost an hour later.

My husband enjoyed his spaghetti sandwich, my catfish and shrimp were pretty good but a little on the salty side. The shrimp were pretty big so that was a plus, I only received one pack of tartar sauce for my order. Later on I was looking forward to dessert. But I took one bite of my banana pudding and there was a piece of plastic inside. I thought maybe it just came off the top to the container. So I dig in for another bite and I spit out another piece of plastic.

I contacted the restaurant to let them know just in case pieces ended up in other containers. The employee I spoke to was very kind and apologetic and so was the manager. I didn't ask for comp or a refund, I was concerned that someone may choke on a piece of plastic.

I actually put my fingers through the pudding and found more pieces. So I threw the container away, I passed on eating the peach cobbler. I might try this restaurant again in the future, I definitely want to support this business. I lost my brother and my mom tragically so I was definitely inspired by how the owner turned tragedy into triumph.

Same exact order, two different nights, two completely different experiences. 4 nights ago, our first time there, we ordered two each of fried snapper, whiting and catfish with a side of Mac n' cheese, and fries to go. Everything was packaged really good they used separate containers for each type of fish so when We got home it looked awesome when we opened each container and we ate every bit of fish and the sides. I hadn't had fried fish that good in a few years. Forward 4 nights, we thought it was so good that we wanted it again. We placed the same exact order. THIS time they put all the fish together in one container, and the sides in separate containers. By the time we got it home, the fish was broken and kind of mixed in together, mushed.... and they were very oily unlike the nice pieces we got in our first order. The food was still tasteful, but it was a different experience because they were inconsistent with how they packaged it for us. We definitely tasted the oil, perhaps it hadn't been changed before our food was made. I want to try them again. That meal will determine if there's going...

We wanted soul food we came to Las Vegas to celebrate my daughter 21st bday and my 17 year anniversary. We found this place decided to go to it and they was having a 50 th anniversary which was an amazing thing to see. So they was just accepting take out. My son order peach cobbler omg it needed help it was like a soup but they was happy to exchange it for the banana pudding. We waited almost 40 minutes for our food which I didn’t mind cause the anniversary party was playing old school music. We received our food went back to our room the fries was touch like they was sitting out, and the greens was full of vinegar like the whole bottle was in it. The coleslaw was bland it had no taste no flavor. The chicken was okay and the fish was was good we ordered the catfish. I am giving them 3 stars just because they staff was friendly and they did exchange the peach cobbler for something else. I am not a picky person but I was raised around the south but my family from Mississippi and from Alabama so I know soul food. But we appreciate...
