RUDE customer service! and low quality Persian food. I really feel like the reviews are fake. My wife and I drove from Bay Area to Vegas for the Christmas holiday. Went to a lot of restaurants in Vegas and LOVED how they treated us as their customers/guests. We decided to go to a Persian restaurant for the Christmas Eve dinner. Picked Dream Kabob because it was open and it also had decent Google reviews. Called them and they said they will be open till 9. I asked them if they will close the door at 9 or they will kick us out at 9! The guy confirmed they "close the door at 9". We drove for like 20mins, got there and were welcomed by a nice young lady and a young dude. We picked our food from the menu and another lady came to take the order. She told my wife they will close at 8:15 because they have a party or something. I looked at my watch and it was 8:06! Once she left,I asked the dude standing there if they will kick us out once their guests arrive! He said, no, no absolutely not, you enjoy the food. They brought the food pretty quickly (check the last paragraph for the food quality review). We were like only 5 mins in eating our food, the same rude lady that took our order (which was probabely the owner) came and asked if we want any dessert! (if you are familiar with Persian foods, you know that they take quite a time to finish). I'm like, dude! We've just started eating! I said, "not yet". And she said "OK I will bring your check"! I said "I dont want dessert while I am eating my kabob,I may ask for dessert once I'm done. " She said "did you call to reserve?" I said I called and asked for your working hours. While she is moving the tables around, she said, we start cleaning at 8:15 specially tonight that we have an event! I said "so, do you want us to stop eating and leave now?" She said "no that's not what I meant! If you want dessert, tell me now". I said no thank you (I definitely wanted to take some saffron šØ,but she wasn't ready to hear that :) ) My wife told me "Nima, let's take our food to go, she is basically kicking us out!" They brought the check, And I decided to write on the back of check that I am not happy with how they treated their guests. She came to us couple times and told has have a great night, I hope we see you again (Time was 8:30 and we were still sitting on our chairs). They absolutely ruined our Christmas Eve dinner party. I have never had such an experience anywhere in the US. Horrible customer service, horrible hospitality.
Food quality: Probabely 3 out of 5. I ordered Barg, shish leek, koobideh and Kashk o Bademjoon. Barg was chewy, Koobideh was not good and Kashko Bademjoon didn't have enough kashk. The only positive part was the bread and Shish leek. Also, shish leek was 24 on the menu, they...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe host is very hospitable but unfortunately the quality of food has gone down drastically since the last time we went there. Maybe they cannot find quality meat anymore. But the meat and salmon portions are smaller (a bit misleading, they used to have two salmon pieces but now they only serve one piece, relatively a small one) and the dishes are way overly priced for what you get. The kebobs are stale and the rice tasted like rubber. I know the prices of everything have gone up but if I'm paying over $100 for a few dish, I expect top quality food. I know the owner likes to see good reviews only and doesn't like to see negative ones but that's how you get better, by being open minded and listening to your customers who maybe not be happy with your quality of food anymore. The unhappy customers are not haters, they are simply expressing their experience. I hope you can provide quality dishes like before. Peace and happy norooz to all of you.
In terms of the owner complaining about one hiding their identity behind internet, I have to say no one is hiding their identity and that's what google reviews are there for. So when people are shy and do not like face to face confrontation, they can still express their feedback. Owner's response to negative reviews is just one example why would a customer post on the internet. Google reviews are a great way to warn others that you will end up paying over $100 for a few dish that's are not even worth it.
It's also a sign of ignorance to accuse your customers of not understanding inflation and economy when they are simply letting you know that your food quality has gone down despite you charging such high prices. It's true that the prices of everything have gone up, I personally don't mind to pay $120 for quality food, but the quality and quantity of your food has gone down DRASTICALLY.
I hope you stop being so aggressive and confrontational when it comes to negative feedback and take negative reviews seriously before your...
