As I sit in the diner having waited more than 30 minutes outside, after the condescending young hostess so politely held her ever-so-difficult to comprehend clipboard and explained to me how a wait list worked after telling me it'd be a 15 minute wait... Simply because we asked about the breakfast bar. I realize that she intentionally sat others ahead us, which is cool. We had patiently waited outside to be called and even checked in after 25 minutes had passed. When we finally came back in, and mentioned the issue, she had an even worse attitude but did give us a table. So that was super kind of her, and we were happy to be seated. The server was kind and polite and got our order, which we were grateful for.
Now having waited 30 minutes at the table after ordering I'm certain this was the worst decision I've made today (and this is Vegas, you come to your own conclusions.)
It is understandable that staff shortages cause delays and stress for employees, but a 20 something with a clipboard, a bad attitude and a lack of social tact could easily make a patient person want to leave the establishment, write a scathing review and never return. It didn't this time. Which is why if you're reading this, you should know I am sitting here, finishing my chorizo skillet and finishing my review at the booth.
If you seem to find yourself in a similar predicament with a particularly mean pint sized pepita, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Read moreI have been to this establishment many times and I’ve never been one to give a bad review but today I went to have brunch with my children. My nine-year-old 12-year-old and 11-year-old went to the restroom. The trashcan that is attached to the wall fell on my nine-year-old leg And when I went to ask for management, I was left sitting there while the staff and manager/owner are in the back talking about the incident. When I was approached, she was very rude and unkind and sarcastic to top it off. I am in the customer service industry, and I do believe that sometimes the customers are not always right, but in this case the way me and my children were treated were unacceptable. The only staff member that was actually concerned for my daughter‘s welfare was our server. I don’t know her name, but she’s always wonderful, as I sit there waiting for a copy of my incident report all of the other staff are staring at me and whispering right in front of me. What an uncomfortable situation. Not only for myself, but for my children, my children also overhear the staff saying that this is the fifth time that that trashcan fell off of the wall. Read moreChicken fried chicken was paper thin which made it over cooked and tough to eat and burnt the gravy was good. eggs were cooked great. The potatoes had a great flavor. The pancakes were fluffy with no flavor but better then most places. The biscuit was dry and crumbly with no flavor. I had asked if they were homemade and was told they were. The waiters came back after we had finished our meal. she asked how is everything? I said the chicken was over cooked and tough, Her response was I am sorry I can make another one I said no I was done well then she said you can take it with you. I thought to myself I don't know why you would say something like that I think they knew it was over cooked when they served it. why would you bring it out and serve it knowing and looking like that! I still paid for it I wasn't asking for a discount but thought it she should have gone further to make it right so your clientele would come back. to us we won't be back we were going in there often but not after that.
