The Human Bean — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I always order the same thing here and I ask for no ice in my drink.

Recently they haven't been filling the cup to the top with product.

Idk if it's a new rule or something they just started to enforce more...either way I'm ok with paying extra, I just want me drink how I like it.

At this location: 5602 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146 They have been really rude when I ask for my cup to be filled to the top.

Todays visit..with attitude the kid told me this is just the recipe for the drink and if I want it filled up I have to pay extra. In which case I said that's fine. They charged me $0.54 extra and still didn't fill my cup up. I just took the drink as is, and then the kid closed the window and didn't give me straws or my 2nd pupcup that I had ordered. I waited for them to come back to the window so I could ask for the rest of the things I needed. Finally a girl came and opened the window without saying anything so I said I'm still waiting on my pupcup and straws.. She said we already gave you a pupcup.... with attitude. I said yes I ordered 2 and I still need straws. She gave me those things and closed the window. I also didn't receive the chocolate covered coffee beans that usually come with each drink. At this point I was over it and just left.

I started going to the human bean when I was out of vegas and couldn't find a dutch bros and discovered I love the snowy mocha from the human bean... I drive 15 minutes out of my way to get the human bean when I have both a Starbucks and a Dutch bros right down the street from me.... Idk if it's worth that anymore if it's going to be such a fight every time I go....

Where to begin…I go to Human bean in all the time. I love it. My whole family goes here. So im on the other side of town and I see there is one over on Charleston. Its about 10 blocks from me but closer then my regular location. There are only 2 cars in the drive thru. So I get in the line and after a few minutes I order. Small hot (16oz)coffee and large(24oz) tea. 35 minutes later I make it to the window. While I was in line I had reloaded my human bean card. Now that im at the window the young lady says that her machine don’t work. I had selected to redeem a free tea as well on my app. She says that will be $18. Im like what? She corrects it and comes back with a new total of $9. I had to pay with my tap because her card machine isn’t taking the app right now. She said she will take a dollar off for my trouble. I didn’t ask for a discount but I get the gesture. So she hands me a small cold brew? I didn’t order that and after some discussion she corrects it and hands me the correct coffee. Then hands me a kids size tea. I couldn’t help but laugh and I said thank you and drove off. Remember I ordered a 24 oz. So to recap, I drive out of my way to get to a Human Bean because I love it and everyone is always so nice. Waited in line for 37 minutes Couldn’t use the app or get my free tea. Was almost over charged by $10. Was handed the wrong drinks, and ended up with a baby tea and still paid $9? I still tipped them because I felt bad for them. I first found out about the Human Bean while I was in Reno traveling for business about a year and a half ago. It instantly had me hooked. The mexi-mocha is really good served hot, and of course they give you the chocolate covered espresso bean that is one of the best I’ve ever had.

Fast forward to about 8-9 months ago, I was driving down Charleston and saw this location in my hometown! I immediately pulled in and ordered my regular. The service was great, and so was the drink. Reminded me of my Reno “go-to” coffee shop. I’ve been to this location over a dozen times since. I will say there has been a couple of times where the drinks were not made up to their regular standards…. Maybe 15%-18% of the time… but the service and staff were always amazing. If they could make the coffee a little more consistently, I would definitely go even more, and it’s quite a distance from my home. Because when it’s made right…. It...
