Mickey's Massive Burritos — Restaurant in LaSalle

The food was good, but the customer service was awful! I ordered through a 3rd party service and received the wrong order. I work in a busy environment with little time for breaks, so I just had to eat what I got. Which was fine, until the delivery driver came back with an attitude. Beyond the driver having a dog in his delivery car, and all of my stuff reeking of cigarette smoke- he felt it was acceptable to be ignorant to the front desk worker and myself for a mistake he made. Note this was over an hour after my food was even delivered! He asked very rudely if I wanted my food after questioning me on what I did with the wrong order, and when I said no he left with a worse attitude than he walked in with. I’m sorry that I didn’t call, but is it really a customers fault that your business messed up? Probably won’t order again, even though the Ensalada was great.

I heard a lot of good things about this place. Finally got to try it. The staff was really friendly the restaurant is clean and nice. The food however. Not so good. This is like chipotle but not as good. The burritos is overflowing. They do not seal them so you will have a tray of slop in no time. It comes with chips and no type of dip. There is “hot sauce” which is not dip. The chips are pretty much tostito quality. This is great if you are looking for another bad impression of Mexican food in this area. This is far from authentic and taste like they used “taco seasoning” from Walmart. The place is big on not being a chain but fails to have better flavor or quality than Chipotle. Ordered steak burrito with onions and peppers in the burrito. They where never put in the burrito nor did I get them on the side. I also told the person when I was making the order I was going to pay with credit card and he stated it was ok that the driver would come with a tablet and swipe my card when he got here. The driver got here and didn't have the tablet. Driver was very nice and friendly he stated he would go back to store and get it and come back I said no I will call the store and do it over the phone. Burrito though didn't have much of a taste at all it was bland. I would give it a 2nd chance forsure as I know mistakes happen. I hope though that the 2nd time will be...
