Fat Wayne's Seafood & Caribbean Restaurant — Restaurant in Lauderhill

I stopped by for take out on Friday, 9-24. There were some younger girls at the register/counter. They were engaged in a conversation & then helping a young guy with an order before they realized I hadn't been helped. I'd went & sat down by the time I was acknowledged.

I ordered the conch & shrimp combo. The person who took my order said I could also get a generic soda. The food was hot & smelling good when I left. Unfortunately, I was disappointed when I got back to enjoy the meal. There was way too much breading on the conch & shrimp. I meant to take a 2nd pic of the plate after I finished. I ended up taking most of the breading off of the food. By the time I finished, the plate looked almost as full as when I'd started. The shrimp had some seasoning but the conch didn't have much/any.

I guess the Bahamas & Jus'Taste Food Truck in Charlotte has been spoiling me with the great conch. I make it my business to try to support Black businesses when I travel. Unfortunately, I probably won't return the next...

DON'T GO HERE! I order 1/4 conch & fries. Which I brought back because the conch was no good. He made me a new batch which he a sured was from a new box. However, it still wasn't good. It smelled bad and tastes spoiled. I asked for my money back which is when he gave me a hard time to refunded my money to the point where I left both the food and my money. He lost my business for $14.00. Mind you, I was the same person to let him know he left his wallet on the table outside full of money on a different day I came. Let me start off by saying I gave Fat Wayne’s 1 star they didn’t even deserve that star to begin with upon approaching the restaurant the plaza it was in was very run down and dirty looked unsanitary.
