It is so bad, I wanna give you a zero. But that's not possible. So I give you, a one.

Ordered 2 chicken fingers kids meals and asked if instead of rice or fries they could get Mac and cheese, the waitress said yes. When the check came they had charged us for 4 kids meals. Had to argue with the waitress and "manager" (while another waitress stood behind them and made faces) about how if we were expected to pay for 4 full kids meals then we should have received 4 sides of either rice or fries and that they should have explained when we ordered that we would be getting charged for 4 kids meals if we wanted Mac and cheese as a side. Tried to say that they would give us 2 sides of either rice or fries, no it would be 4 sides. Finally settled on the idea that we would take 4 sides of fries, mainly just to be able to leave without letting them scam us. The "manager" came back out and said she would remove 2 of the kids meals from the check. Great! Paid and left. I have never complained at a restaurant, and never left without tipping but yesterday I did. I will never go back, the lack of customer service skills and communication was astounding.

Also I had ordered a chicken and spinach quesadilla but received a chicken and shrimp quesadilla instead, I'm not allergic to shrimp and like it so I didn't say anything but yeah.

Update 4/02/25 I find myself frequently returning to Tequilas because of their excellent food and customer service. Two staff members worthy of honorable mention are Kim, a nursing student and Jake, military son and Solar Energy entrepreneur. They greet us with a genuine smile and sincere effort to provide an exceptional dining experience, whether dining in or getting food to go. My favorite is the table side guacamole 🥑 which is mixed and seasoned to perfection. The red sauce is a custom blend that is so much better than grocery brands that I now buy it by the pint. Everything on the menu is great but the fried ice cream has me cheating on my diet it is so incredibly tempting. It’s an easy in and out with ample parking that makes the whole experience a breeze. I love many of our fine restaurants in Hendersonville and Tequilas is at the top of the list.

This is an excellent Mexican restaurant right there within feet of Sol Y Luna, which is also great. The food is genuine. The staff is friendly and helpful and the whole environment is very enjoyable with a huge TV at the bar Great beers on tap and some of the best...

We had a terrible experience here. We waited over 40 minutes just for Carnitas and nachos. When my Carnitas finally came, I had only eaten a few bites while still waiting for the nachos for my sister and mom. By the time their nachos arrived, I looked down and saw a black bug in my food. It was very clearly dead, soaked, and looked like it had been cooked in with the Carnitas.

We asked for our server, but since he didn’t speak much English, he brought over the manager. The manager glanced at my plate, said “sorry about the fly,” (it wasn’t a fly) and walked away without offering to make it right. We waited another few minutes with no response until we got up to find him. Only then did he finally say there would be no charge for my plate.

Between the long wait, the lack of cleanliness, and the dismissive response from management, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Definitely would...
