The Nugget II Tavern — Restaurant in Laurel Springs

This is going to be a little long-wind but please let me cook so I used to go to the old spot when it was the other, the other bar and their wings were like the best. I used to brag about them. I will always go get a tray for the Eagles games and everything now nugget one. My brother lives near there and I always knew them as to be like the original Best wings all over and come to find out driving past there the other day. Notice this was the nugget 2. So going off of past history I decided to give it a try. I ordered 10 honey jerk wings jerk my nothing that no heat really on there. No jerk season it was giving the wings. The wings were good but no jerk that had no jerk seasoning in there. So that was false advertisement and I always wanted to know did they have a recipe that they followed or was it the cook that used to cook the wings before that made the food so good cuz at times a lot of people don't give the restaurants Cooks the credit for bringing them in. I used to cook at restaurants and I know certain times when people work the food is good. Sometimes the people other people work. Food is bad but to label something as jerk being married to a Jamaican woman. This was a big letdown. I was going to bring some home and surprise the family but I'm glad I only brought 10 and ate it myself. The wings...

The owner and all the people there are incredible. The service is impeccable. It’s pristine inside. You feel like you’re at home the first time you walk it. I would recommend coming here 10 out or 10 times. The best bartender I’ve ever had was Tiffany. It’s a wonderful place. The only issue I had was the extreme rude entitle “local” heavy set guy with a grey beard 40 looked at least 50 no judgment. The owner asked me to help with a situation. This man’s reaction was to insult me and express in explicit language I was the problem with the country while talking loudly enough about me across the bar I could hear each insult. Jimmy is wonderful I wouldn’t let an insure individual keep me from coming to a wonderful place. I just hope if clientele asks like that when people have been nothing but respectful to everyone around them that they learn that they don’t know everything in the world or who people are. Thank you Jimmy and Tiffany I wish for nothing but success for those who are kind. I appreciate kindness bases off of the environment I came from and this place is different and I understand and appreciate the difference and in an extremely kind litigious manner certain people who grow up in bad areas can be built different than the “drunk local”. I recently visited the Nugget Two in Laurel Springs with my mom, and we were blown away by the exceptional service and delicious food! On our first visit, which was a quiet Thursday, the friendly bartender named Tina had time to chat with us and made us feel welcome and valued. She was so sweet and entertaining that we decided to go back the following week for more of their fabulous lobster bisque and the Steak Sandwich Special that was an incredible value.

When we returned, the bar was bustling with activity - every seat at the bar and high tops was taken! But despite the chaos, the bartender (Tina) recognized us from the previous week and greeted us with the same warm smile. It was impressive to watch her expertly juggle multiple conversations and orders while maintaining her composure and friendly demeanor. She truly made everyone feel like they were the most important person in the bar.

My husband and I were fortunate enough to be at the Nugget Two on the day the new owners made settlement and got the keys. It truly is a great spot… the bar is clean and spacious! Pictures are from the opening day of Nugget two.
