To the girl working the closing shift at the Starbucks in Laurel Ms on 16th on May 6, 2025 who ruined my god like study session, I hope you see this. Picture this. Itās finals week. Iām a broke, ADHD English major whoās only way of getting her work done is by forcing herself to sit at Starbucks and lock in, not allowing myself to leave until I get things DONE, right? okay now picture me ankle deep in a 8000 word short story, right in the midst of the climax. Iām typing faster than the speed of light, my brain going a million miles an hour. Iām so locked in, itās unreal. All of a sudden, the music in the speakers start BLARING above me. I mean you couldāve told me I was at a rave and I wouldāve believed you had my eyes been closed. Then, I look up, because thereās no way she just turned up the music when she literally SAW me typing away, trying not to crash out. She makes eye contact with me and disappears behind the counter, so iām sitting there, absolutely in a tizzy because my brain cannot focus on the absolute INSANE amount of work iām trying to get done while the music is blaring in my ears. Then, finally, I get so frustrated that I start packing up to leave and when Iām just about to reach for the handle of the door, the music goes back down to a normal volume, magically. And also magically something is suddenly hilariously funny to the worker who completely ignored my eye contact of alarm for her to turn it down. So for one, thank you for forever ruining the song, Take On Me forever. And two, making me leave in the middle of a diabolical plot twist. Also feel i should note: I bought two drinks and a sandwich in the 7 hours I was there. YES. SEVEN HOURS. TJATS HOW MUCH WORK I HAD TO DO. ALSO should note. At this point, it was only 7:30. they didnāt close until 9. So it wasnāt like i wasnāt a paying customer, or trying to stay past closing and hinder them from doing their job. So thanks girl i really appreciate it you ruined a homework session that was going so well. I hope that man in the green shirt whoās always in there watching yall work sees this and gives you a stern talking to. not the girl with the dark brown almost black hair. this girl had lighter brown hair and it was in a ponytail. and yes I understand how much of a Karen I am being right now, but I could care less. When I graduate and become a best selling author, I will make a villainous character in your likeness to include in one of my best selling novels. Thank you SO much. I had every right to be there and you apparently wanted me to leave so bad that you gave me a freaking aneurism trying to focus on two things at once. Making coffee IS NOT that hard nor is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely adore Starbucks and their Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew! From the moment I walk into this Starbucks location, I am always greeted with a warm smile and exceptional customer service. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure that I have the best experience possible.
And let's talk about the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew for a moment, shall we? It is hands down one of the best iced coffee drinks that I have ever had. The smoothness of the cold brew combined with the richness of the vanilla sweet cream is simply divine. It's the perfect balance of sweetness and strength, and it always gives me the energy boost that I need to power through my day.
What's even better is that Starbucks uses high-quality ingredients, so I know that I am getting a drink that is both delicious and made with care. And whether I'm in the mood for a classic coffee drink or something a little more adventurous, there is always a drink on the menu that satisfies my craving.
Overall, I can't say enough good things about Starbucks and their Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. It's clear that they take pride in their products and their customer service, and I will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come. If you haven't tried their Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew yet, I highly recommend that you do ā you won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually have great experiences and the employees are SO nice (I have a few favorites by now!) But there is this one lady who works at the window, who has an awful attitude. I thought she may have been having a bad day the first time she waited on me at the window (she was trash talking and making fun of someone). I went this morning and she was there. The only cash I had was $100 (from the ATM), and she said she didn't have change. I told her okay, just cancel it because that's the only cash i had. no biggie. So I went an got change, and came back, placed my order, pulled around. I handed her my money and I overheard her telling another worker "if my memory serves me correctly, and it does, it's totally her. She came back." Thought it was weird comment to make but okay. So she hands me my drink, says "have a good day" with the most fake painted on smile and sour attitude. I was putting my drink in the cupholder and said "you, too". Just plain. And as I was pulling away, she said "Please, PLEASE, get an attitude with me!" No attitude at all from me. but this is the second sour, negative encounter ive had with this cashier. She does not have the same care for customers the other staff have always displayed. Her attitude needs to be checked. This was my treat for dealing with such a rough week so far but she put such a...
