I ordered nachos and a grilled chicken platter. The nachos were really good (besides the fact it didnt have guac included, but it was the end of the night so they were likely out). The grilled chicken platter was the saddest meal I have ever seen in my life, the chicken had no seasoning and wasnt even chopped up. The platter was also missing beans that was supposed to come with. I ended up throwing the platter out because it was so bad. However, I would have ignored all of this and given a 4-5 star review but unfortunately I was charged $12 for nachos and $13 for the platter (before tax) when both menus online state that both plates are $10 each. Luckily Totopos was a great find thanks to the recommendation of a friend. It's a small place--only two tables inside with some more outside in front--but the food was delicious. We ordered some simple fare to try--chicken enchiladas verdes and chicken flautas--and both were very good (and cheap!). The salsa used in the cooking did not seem spicy at first, but it builds to a nice kick as you keep eating. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm craving good...
Read moreI absolutely love the food here. The lady who cooks for us most of the time is amazing. While it's usually one person and it does take a little time, be patient because it is worth it. The chicken mole is amazing and one of my favorites and the steak nachos are at the top of my list too. They grill the tortillas for you fresh, and it's just those couple extra touches that put it over the edge. Don't be fooled by the converted home appearance, or the lack of air conditioning, its a tiny little hole in the wall hidden...
