Well it's a beautiful place inside, I go in and the menu is almost on the ceiling I have a vision disability and I was trying to order breakfast . It says Cafe and I order a Belgian waffle , I can see that at the top it's real big letters I order biscuits and gravy cuz it's kind of toward the bottom of the menu and then I see eggs eggs and I didn't know what the egg stuff was so I said I want eggs and grits then she tells me . We don't have eggs we don't have a grill I said you don't have eggs and the lady ssid no ,we don't have eggs I said , there are eggs on that menu up there I can read those words so I told her I said I can't see very well but I do see the word egg and she says we don't have a grill to cook eggs I said okay so I said I want one of the eggs that you have already cooked then I add chocolate chips to my Belgium waffle and the man that was there said you're wearing us out and the girl walks away and doesn't finish taking my order I feel like I was discriminated against because I have a vision disability it's hard for me to see I've never been in there I don't know what their menu was they have three big sandwich boards full of stuff written on it and it's up on the ceiling so if you have a vision disability please don't patronize this place cuz they'll probably walk away...

What I got: Jacked Up BLT and a sweet tea
The food and drinks: 100% the best sandwich I've had in a while. Fresh lettuce and tomato. Signature BigJack sauce. Crispy bacon. Nothing but the best. The sweet tea tasted like something your mamaw would make for lunch, you won't regret it.
Service: We met "The Eric" who's the owner of the place! He came to our table and gave recommendations for food and was incredibly personable. He gave us the backstory of his business as well, telling us that his business is named after his loyal companion, Big Jack, an incredibly good boy who passed in 2018.
Atmosphere: The aesthetic of the business reflects "The Eric" incredibly well. A clean kept man with an appreciation for coffee and quality. With Eric being so personable, we immediately felt welcome.
This is run by a man who is incredibly passionate and intelligent. The logo is even Eric's face! If you're looking for somewhere not just to eat, but to relax and have an experience, this is the place...

Sailor's beware, there are certain days of the week those of nautical heritage are only served behind the restaurant (rumor is it is whatever day a sailor enters the establishment).
Regardless of where the owner requires you to dine (if you're remaining on-site) the coffee and breakfast fare is much worth the antics of the hospital owner and his lovely bride (the Big Jack sauce is a must try).
Not being from the area (not even a neighboring state (but maybe similar state of mind)), we certainly hope our travels return us to an open sign on the door of this "well worth the stop" coffee shop.
From the sailor allowed to dine with ship's company, well done Big Jack's!!!
