This rating could be so much better if not for my bad customer service experience. I have been here a few times as my father and mother live in Lawrenceburg. Usually pretty good food at a decent price,. This was a special occasion so we ordered 2 VIRGIN Strawberry Daiquiris and 1 VIRGIN Pina Colada since we don't drink alcohol. When the bill arrived we were charged FULL price as if they had alcohol in them. I went to the front and asked what appeared to be the manager/owner or person in charge why it was not less. He proceeded to tell me that's just how we charge here. After some discussion about my displeasure at paying $8.00 a drink for ice and syrup, he relented and comped ONE of the drinks meaning we still paid $16.00 for three VIRGIN drinks. Sad to say, but this will probably keep me from ever coming here or bringing my family again. I have worked in the restaurant business for 15 plus years as a bartender, server, and manager and better guest relations go a long way in return business and revenue. The customer is NOT always right, but in this case they cost themselves over $1,000.00 plus in future revenue. I'll be heading down the road to the competition who has a slightly better rating.
*Update - Well, now I've moved here near my family and live close to the restaurant. It's still really hit-or-miss when I come here. I've ordered to go sometimes on my way home from work and the fajitas were burnt on one order. Then the guacamole I got tasted like they dumped a whole Shaker of salt in it. The atmosphere of the restaurant I do like, but it seems every other time I come here there's some sort of issue with either the food quality or the customer service. I've tried my best as I've probably been here close to 10 times in total and had bad experiences at least four if not more times. I still recommend somewhere else in Lawrenceburg...
Read moreThis place needs New Mexico foods really really bad. I always goto Lisa's Travel center in Moriarty, New Mexico and I always get their green chili smothered wet burritos. Those are by far the best burritos on I-40. There is a place called Danny's restaurant in Laredo, Texas they have the best La Parriada ever with fire roasted Poblanos peppers, stuffed with real cheese, and they serve grilled chicken breast, and a grilled steak, simmering over a candle flame with grilled onions and fresh jalapeno on the top sizzling from the candle flame. Served with home made flour or corn tortillas. Lawrenceburg would never be the same if they swapped over to a restaurant famous in El Paso, Texas. They have a Salsa bar. The customer picks his own salsa mild or hot, and they also have fresh made avocados sauce and sour cream, and mild green tomatillo sauce. Definitely the perfect selection of fresh cut onions and tomatoes and cilantro, limes. They also have a tortilla factory inside. Hand made tortillas fresh daily. Corn and flour. The food is excellent. These restaurants here in lawrenceburg are lacking really bad here. There is maybe a small handful that I do like here, otherwise you have to travel out of town of you want really good quality food. Yes the service here is awesome.. But the flavor just isnt here. Anyone from The I-25 corridors that knows how to cook that New Mexico foods..please come to Tennessee/Alabama. We so desperately need you. Anyone ever travel to Biggersville, Mississippi??? Off hwy 45 south of Corinth, MS 🤯🤯🤯 the catfish restaurant is so amazing. THEY SURE KNOW...
Read moreFor the past several years we have visited fiesta Mexican and had a great experiences. The past several weeks has been a completely different story. The business has split with other members of staff and the other staff have opened a New Mexican restaurant in Lawrenceburg. I am always for the underdog and decide to be be faithful and stay with the old. Well tonight 6/3 my boyfriend and I went into eat and play trivia. I ordered two marquitas with my meal and one to go. My driver had ordered 3 diet Coke’s. When I ordered my to go with the waitress, she took my order and the manager showed up to deliver and explained that as of yesterday the state of Tennessee no longer allows to go alcohol sales. Ok I’m fine with that, up until I read the new law signed by governor Lee that extended to go alcohol sales for the next 2 years. My problem is this, if you do not want to be involved in this law than don’t be. But do not lie and say it’s no longer a law. But you will let me have this one this one time because you feel sorry for me. Don’t patronize me fiesta. There are so many more choices other than you. Your employees who are left feel like they are walking on eggs. You better get yourself together or I can see everyone heading up to the old ponderosa building. Your customers are not stupid. We know the to go alcohol sales have been...
