I don't even know where to start. A couple weeks ago, I decided to get food from this McDonald's location. I downloaded the app and placed my orders. We arrived at the McDonald's store and I couldn't find any signal. I tried using their wifi but it wasn't working. I decided to go to the drive thru hoping to get some help from an employee. She acknowledged that the wifi always sucks here, I wasn't able to pull my order on my phone so she said she wouldn't be able to assist me. I drove around the parking lot until I was able to get a signal. I called the restaurant and they told me to park and someone will be bringing me the food. I thanked the employee and I started opening the bag. Until then I was calm and patient. I did ask them to remove cheese, mayo from my burger, the sticky note on the burger box had the special instructions. But to my surprise the burger had a heavy dose of mayo. I decided to go back to the drive thru lane to ask for another burger. The same lady from earlier was assisting me. She was rude and very defensive. I'm someone who stays away from conflict. She said that her manager already gavecme my order. She didn't even let me explain why I came back to her drive thru. She instructed me to go to the second window. When I arrived there, nobody came to acknowledge me. Here I was confused and upset, and not knowing what to do. After about 3-4 minutes of waiting, an employee handed me another burger. She didn't say Hi, nor did she apologize for the mistake. If I wasn't starving I would have thrown the food away. I feared they might have done something to the food. Anyway I hope they get better training and improve their customer...
Read moreNow that McDonald's is utilizing technology almost to an extreme, the overall atmosphere is very strange now. You can not order at the counter with a human employee anymore. Instead, upon entrance, you will be greeted by a young man, and he will ask whether you are or have already ordered via the McDonalds App. If yes, then you may proceed to the table you would like to sit at and wait for your food to be brought to you. If NO, then you will be using the huge touch screen ordering station in order to place your order. Once you've placed the order, you may use a credit/debit card and proceed to your table of choice. While you wait for your food, the "greeter" will come by your table most likely every 5 minutes to ask how you're doing. Lol. Poor guy. And finally your food will be delivered and/or they will call your number at the counter. Good luck if you need any condinents because they aren't trying to give them out. And getting someone's attention to even ask for said condiments is like pulling teeth. There were two female employees on their phones having an in-depth conversation directly in front of me, so I had to wait for someone to bring an order to the desk. Then I asked for 3 buffalo sauces and 2 ranches, and they only gave me two for free, and we paid for the additional ones. 25 cents each. Like they don't make enough money already.
Anyway, good luck. I don't think I like where things...

I can truthfully say that in my 27 years of life, this was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. To turn off your speaker systems 15 minutes prior while I’m telling you that I’m there to pick up an order is rude, but I gave you all the benefit of the doubt. I came to the pickup window and was promptly ignored by two different employees with almost 15 minutes left until closing. I tried knocking on the window and I made direct eye contact with both employees and they proceeded to continue to ignore me. Had I not placed a pickup order ahead of time, I would just leave and moved on with my day. But they lack the basic customer service skills to even acknowledge my existence and at the very least let me know that they were closing early and could not fulfill my order and could expect a refund or something of that nature. The comfort with which these employees did this suggests that they are comfortable treating customers like this and that it is a regular occurrence.
If you value basic customer service skills, I would highly suggest that you TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE until management can either find or train more courteous employees. I’ve gotten better service from people who didn’t care...
