I ordered through Uber last night and said none for spice and received extremely spicy dishes and it was GRITTY!! Like I was eating dirt. I have a lamb biryani and a fried rice I won’t touch and the two dishes I opened are partially eaten as I had to stop eating thinking I’m eating dirt. I also felt I was served old meat, the chicken and lamb was terrible dry hard lamb hidden under rice (just looked like a pile of rice) and the chicken was the same. It was so bad I had to look at when this place closed to see if I ordered close to closing time and pissed off the cook.
I was sick this morning and still feel sick and am saving the unopened dishes in case I do not get better soon so I can figure out what was put in my food. Was like eating super hot spicy dirt, I wonder what it was…it crossed my mind that they were possibly cleaning and I ended up eating something they use for cleaning.
I’m so weirded out and the high reviews for this place are suspect. It’s the worst Indian food I’ve ever had and I’m disgusted and stuck with all of this food I bought that is now garbage. I’m not new to Indian food and had great Indian food at the food truck off 183 by the QT Mart last week. Won’t name the place because that’s wrong to do here but they serve real Indian food. Classic tikki marsala, biryani dishes and tandoori dishes.
How does this place in the gas station have such good reviews when it’s beyond bad? No way the reviews are real. Calling it now. Just no way possible. I’d like my money back for this inedible food that’s full of literal dirt or something else that doesn’t belong in it but I know I...
Read moreThe service from this place was top tier. The man working (I didn’t get his name) was so kind and welcoming my BF called me on the way home to brag about him. He gave us a free dessert (Creamy Rasmalai) and a coupon for next time. We ordered the butter chicken supreme and classic tikka masala, both mild, and a Mango Lassi. The portions were more than enough for two people (we had leftovers) and it was all so very delicious! As we were enjoying our food I received a call from them and the man on the phone was very apologetic for leaving our naan. I was confused because I was staring at what I thought was 2 naan, but he said there was supposed to be another one. He then offered another discount for the mistaken, which was more than enough considering he had already treated us with dessert. All in all, the food was great, the service was great and we will be ordering...
Read moreLeander Quick Stop is a hidden gem that has quickly become our go-to spot, especially after intense sessions at Austin Badminton. Their food is nothing short of spectacular, with the chilli momos being an absolute must-try – perfectly spiced and bursting with flavor. The dal makhani is rich and creamy, offering that comforting homemade feel, while their pakodas are crispy, fresh, and ideal for snacking.
What truly sets them apart, though, is their chai – it’s simply the best! Perfectly brewed with the right balance of spices, it’s a cup of warmth and perfection that keeps us coming back every day.
