NO CALL NO SHOW!! We got our delivery order cancelled without notice 10 minutes past when it was supposed to be delivered. We were really hungry and decided to order some wings and fries. This location is actually across the street from our Morning Star neighborhood but we decided to order delivery since it was after 9pm. This really sucked because we could've easily ordered from anywhere else had we been notified. We didn't get contacted about the cancellation. Not our driver nor a manager bothered. We received a "your order has been cancelled, please contact the location for more information". This was likely just a template/automated response since no one answered when we called immediately. No voice box available either to leave a message. Ok, we thought. That's definitely a super unprofessional and irresponsible way to handle that. Surely they'll refund our money at the very least we thought. Nope. I finally took matters into my own hands several days later and showed up to the restaurant. O boy, that was eye opening. I'll be nice about it since I don't believe the workers are responsible for the crappy customer service. They were slammed and were taking a long time to get to walk in customers. Things seemed really panicked and they served a few folks who walked in after me. I was in a hurry and didn't want to waste anymore time so I walked out and thought, I'll just call. I was able to speak to the manager Maria. I explained what had happened, as well as my disappointment with the way it was (or rather not handled) handled. Her only response was yeah I'll have my manager call you. Me: Ok when? Her: Yeah, I don't know, could take up to 7 days. Me: really? This isn't important enough to call me later today or just refund my money now? Her: No, I'll have to let my boss know Me: Gotta be really honest, I was not expecting a response like that considering the history of this terrible display of customer service. Her: silence
Anyhow, I'm really shocked by the level of carelessness and irresponsible attitude. You couldn't try any harder to give off a " I don't give a sh*!" vibe. No apology at any point. No offer to make it right. No, let us give you a $10 credit. All I got after all that wasted time and effort was, a call back from Maria with a - My boss said he'll refund your money and don't expect your refund sooner than 7-10 business days. Me: OK (in the form of a question tone and a sarcastic laugh) Maria: Ok bye. Click (hung up)
So, here's how GREAT leadership would handle a bad weather situation. Option 1 don't take orders Option 2 don't take any further orders but finish your current orders MEDIOCRE LEADERSHIP: Option 1 cancel immediately and notify by way of app immediately and refund money right away. Option 2 cancel immediately and call all existing clients whose orders will not be delivered to let them know out of courtesy and refund money right away. BAD "COWARDLY" LEADERSHIP Option 1 cancel and don't notify any one but refund money in a timely manner so they don't bother you too much. BEYOND HORRIBLE AND COWARDLY LEADERSHIP let orders go out even though you know your not intending to deliver. Cancel well after the expected delivery. Send out an automated message that the orders are cancelled and need to call the location for any questions but turn off your phone system so you don't have to be accountable for your decision. Then, triple down on the crappy service and keep everyone's money. Then, quadruple down and when they call don't apologize and make sure to let them know you don't care by saying your boss might call 7-10 days later with no guarantee that they're gonna refund your money.
BTW- 5 days from this whole thing started and I still have't received my money back. Not sure if I'll receive it at this point. Anyhow, hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Too bad because the franchise does a decent job of...
Read moreWe go here every other week. The staff is great, and the chicken wings are the bomb!! 😋 Update 6/20/25 The food is still good, when you get it. Customer service has fallen way off! Went tonight with a couple of friends. We ordered, they ordered. They got their food, we sat there. About 10 minutes after they got their food, my husband went up to ask, they didn't have our ticket. (Thank goodness I got ours at the register! We usually don't.) Waited again, my husband went back up, they said we had a couple tickets in front of us!! I went up and said we've been waiting an hour. Our friends are done eating! The girl at the counter, no name tag, got rude with me and told me other people are waiting too. 3 people that had just ordered and were getting their drinks at this point. I told her I'd like to speak to the manager. I waited. She ignored me. I asked the guy who was at the counter if he would get the manager. He walked back, but no manager came out. They definitely need to over haul the customer service. We ordered and waited over an hour. It will be awhile...
Read moreI live in Leander and I’m much closer to the cedar park wingstop however ever since the Ronald Regan location has opened I only go to this one even despite the fact that its further simply because of how amazing the quality of food is and the staff! Not to mention the manager Maria is always so helpful and kind. I managed to order the wrong items (totally my fault) and Maria ensured I got what I originally had meant to order without making me feel bad about it. The staff there is incredible and they always greet you when you walk in which is so rare nowadays when it comes to fast food places. Most importantly the food quality is amazing. I had sworn off Wingstop for a while because overtime the wings just weren’t as good and the fries were always cold but this location has totally changed my perspective and my experience with Wingstop. So grateful for the Ronald...
