There's one thing you know you're getting at McDonald's, and that is consistency. Whether you are in the farthest flung reaches of some rural outpost, or a huge city, if you are at a McDonald's you know the quality and consistency or the food you are getting.
Sadly none of those things are true at the Lebanon McDonald's. For the last few years now, this McDonald's could take two minutes or 18 minutes to get through the drive through, even if only ordering one item. Your food could be cold or hot, your order could be right or wrong, or a complete other order.
There is almost no effort put into checking the details of what you ordered, or making sure the product they are producing meets the standard or what people expect from a McDonald's meal.
Rarely have I ever been through a fast food chain that plays so fast and loose with what many would say is the defining standard of fast food consistency. It's honestly pretty appalling that McDonald's corporate would allow such poor performance from a franchise.
The Lebanon McDonald's is a dice role. You might end up with your exact order, hot and fast that looks just like the pictures on the menu, or you might end up being served by an ambivalent team that could give zero sh*ts about your order, and you get a cold, wrong order that took eighteen minutes to get in a excruciatingly slow drive thru. Sadly, the later is more often the case.
Every few weeks I think, they must have gotten better by now... And usually the only consistent thing I get is disappointment. I know staffing has been an issue for over three years now, and maybe some of what Is going on here is all due to staffing. But if that's the case, it's been three plus years, and that's plenty of time to pivot your business to meet the new dynamic.
I'm done with trying and done with disappointment from a McDonald's that can never seem to deliver when it's counted upon. I'm going to save myself the frustration and the calories, and just drive by now knowing they've had time to get their business in order, but have chosen to not meet the standards that every other McDonald's on the globe seems to be...
Read moreI went this evening through the drive through. I ordered a big Mac meal and a hamburger happy meal. I drove to the first window showed the gal my app and she looked at it and did her thing in the computer. I pay and get my receipt. I go to the 2nd window to pick up my good, confirm my order and then get my food. The lady said have a nice day (clearly rushed) and I had to explain that I didn't get the chocolate milk yet. She hands me the milk, I go on my way. I eat my fries note they are cold don't care and keep driving home. I get to hwy 34 and open my big Mac to see that they didn't put any lettice on my burger. I called and spoke with someone who did not sound concerned and offered to place my name on a list. I said yes and then she quickly says to just walk in and say (insert name here) said I could get a free replacement burger and just hangs up. She didn't ask for my name and I didn't get to ask any questions. So I called again and spoke with a gentleman who kindly allowed me to explain the issue. He took my name and allowed me to collect the owners phone number (which I will contact tomorrow). I am consistantly displeased this branch getting my order incorrect. After all that I get home I double check my reciept and I'll be they never put my app code into the system and I was overcharged. So....long wait, over charged and lead on to believe code was entered, poor quality service, forgotten items, missing ingredients, cold sides. Slow down so that you can pay attention to details. You'll end up serving everyone faster! This is one of many times they have messed up and this is my 2nd time actually calling the store for resolution. This has got to stop and I am not the only one to experience situations like this from this...
Read moreIt is 8:40 pm, and I just returned from Lebanon, OR McDonalds after ordering what I asked to be, TWO OREO MINT McFlurry ice cream treats. It was dark, and a long line behind me so, after being handed these six inch cups, I pulled away from the window. Looking down at them in my cup holder, I actually could not see any ice cream in one of them. One cup was HALF FULL, I am guessing that was because I used a COUPON THAT WAS SENT TO ME IN THE MAIL, buy one, get one free. The other cup, certainly WAS NOT FULL EITHER, but it was what you'd call 3/4 full. McDonalds charges $3.50 for one of these, and it measures out to be to the brim, 1 and 1/2 cups, which, if it WOULD HAVE BEEN full, I could not complain. One treat measured slightly over one cup, the other, slightly more than ONE HALF CUP of ice cream for $3.50!! I actually ORDERED TWO MINT OREO TREATS, NEITHER ONE WAS MINT, ONLY JUST OREO, and there was only a TRACE OF OREO COOKIES in either cup, almost all plain ice cream! GOOD GRIEF! This restaurant does a HUGE BUSINESS, and when you present a coupon, THEY sent out to ME, THIS IS WHAT YOU GET! I would not have written this, but this happened to me TWICE before with breakfast sandwiches, one decent one, the other, from a warming tray, crusted over, no condiments on it, etc. I just got so mad last time, they both got thrown away because I thought I would probably get sick from eating something setting around so long. I work away from home a lot, there are good McDonalds, and bad ones for sure, Lebanon, Oregon McDonalds is a restaurant to stay away from, being ripped off, and getting warmed over food. The franchise owner here needs a good talking to...
