Swiss Inn-Drive In — Restaurant in Lebanon

I was influenced by Google reviews and very disappointed. We ordered 2 small cheeseburgers, original steak sandwich, large curly fries, small tots, and 2 medium malts for $30. The amount of curly fries were similar to the tots and cost twice as much, so I would have thought the order would be big enough to share. It was not. The burgers were the size of a McDonald's burger. The steak sandwich was like the school cafeteria in the 70's with a drizzle of sauce and sprinkle of lettuce. This was not a $5.99 sandwich! The malts were soft serve mixed with chocate syrup with no malt flavor. I feel like we paid twice as much as we should have for what we received. I will close with a positive comment. Staff appeared to be nice but got angry at me when I asked for condiments. The old lady gave me a small spread of mayo and a popsicle stick on a piece of paper. Really??? And when I asked for more mayo the old man made rude comments about me. I had asked for a refund for the "what-they-call-sunday" made from cheap soft serve, not ice cream and they ripped me off on the taxes. They refunded only the price of the item, but when she rang me up she charged about $1.00 just for taxes. What the hell is wrong with me that got such bad service? Not to mention, the Swiss Steak is not a steak!!! It's deep-fried shoe sole that tastes like old frying oil. NEVER...

Food is good. The staff leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to customer service. I was Rudely notified when I placed my carry out order, that due to the pandemic “well, you can’t eat it here!” Umm it’s a carry out order. I understand and agree with the caution and I also appreciate the fact they are open to serve us. But when every member of the kitchen is preparing food and not a single person is wearing gloves, I think that should’ve address more than snapping at paying customers that they may not sit eat their food when placing a CARRYOUT ORDRR.
