Scorez Sports Bar — Restaurant in Lehi

Have you ever seen prime Lebron James play? Have you ever wondered what the atmosphere was like when Mozart was slamming ivory to a sold out crowd in 1820? You just need to spend 5 minutes at Scorez with Cheilly and Suzanne on Mondays to get a taste of what excellence and industry domination feels like. As someone in their prime drinking age, I've been to pretty much every bar in Utah and Scorez is up there in my rankings. Cheilly is always so efficient and quick to get us our drinks and to close us out, while at the same time doing a million other things around the bar. Suzanne also has a quick trigger at making drinks and I never find myself waiting long. Behind the bar Cheilly and Suzanne are like Jordan and Pippen. Not to take away from the rest of the staff, Shalissa is probably number 2 at Scorez when it comes to service speed. One Sunday she dropped a new beer in my hand just as I was finishing my last one, and I think about that a lot. Cam is a cutie but he's a good bartender too. Amy is just a fireball of positivity and I think she thinks I'm funny (?) 1,0000/10 would recommend Scorez any night of the week since there is always something going on and you know you'll be...

So, today is Valentine's day. Not like it matters, but currently I'm single by choice. (Just not my choice.)

So, what do single people do on Valentine's day? I decided to go to the bar. Haha. But, they were playing bingo here tonight, so I wanted to play bingo, and hope for some luck. Spoiler: I didn't win anything.

The price for drinks was pretty good, although the selection of food was pretty weak. Basically, I think I paid $9 for a cheap $2 Frozen pizza. But, I'm okay with that. It was nice to spend Valentine's Day with other people. Haha

There was only one employee working here tonight while I was there, and there were probably 30 people playing bingo, and she did an awesome job checking on everyone, cleaning the tables, and just running the show. Is this my new favorite bar? Not really, but the service tonight was pretty good, and I kind of like the place. It did bug me how there were a handful of people smoking indoors, but they were on the other side of the bar, and I wasn't going to make a fuss.

This definitely is a dive bar, but I did like how there were a lot of pool tables, and they don't charge to play pool here. And also, the prices on their drinks are...

The place is fine. BUT. I left my card with the bartender before checking out. I have since received 3 notifications of an $8 charge, a $6 charge, and an $11 charge from "VERTIGO LLC" on the card I used to pay my $10 bill at the bar (for which I received a separate notification). VERTIGO LLC appears to be a local, possibly online, clothing store based out of West Jordan, from which I've never and never would be interested in purchasing anything from. I left the bar not 30 minutes ago. I have not used my card for anything between the time I left and now. Someone is using my card numbers. Either the bartender is shady or they are not securing cards well enough to prevent malicious patrons from stealing. I will be refuting these charges.
