What a FANTASTIC gem in Fort Myers! I met the owner in an event I participated in and he was selling his carne en vara (steak on wood skewer). As a Brazilian who loves bbq, I missed eating steak grilled over wood fire. The steak flavors are enhanced by the technique used and you just don't want to stop eating. The Food: I tried everything on the menu and it is hard to recommend one item. The famous Cachapas had a flavorful sweetness from the corn, and smokiness from grill. Highly recommend it. The meats were my favorite. I tried the platter that came with steak, pork, and sausage. All delicious. I took some soup home and was delighted by it. Great flavor combination. It goes best on a chill night. The Service: The whole staff was very kind, attentive, and took great care of my wife and I. The Atmosphere: Take your family there. Have a big day out. Puedo entender lo del baño por ser un sitio campestre de igual forma no lo necesite, pero si nada cuesta con avisar o un letrero indicando que el agua es de pozo asi se evita el tema del mal olor despues de lavarlas, la idea es que tengan un servilletero en cada mesa solo me dieron 3; bastante vi ocupada a la chica como para estarla llamando a cada rato, como pude con esas tres me limpiaba al menos la boca. Fácilmente otra persona podia haberme traído la carta mientras desidimos y despues la chica venía y tomaba el pedido tal cual como lo hacen en algunos restaurantes los anfitriones. Las moscas me va a disculpar pero no es la primera vez que voy a un restaurante campestre se entiende el ambiente pero le acoto que hay estrategias que se pueden implementar como trampas para moscas, ventiladores que generen corrientes de viento, tambien existen plantas que repelen insectos, sistemas de luz ultra violeta que atrapan las moscas asi que no es una excusa válida cuando se pueden implementar técnicas para mejoras la experiencia del cliente. En cuanto a la comida ya con la experiencia que estaba teniendo no quería hacer mas alarde porque la opinión en el momento difícilmente la corrigen pero por este medio si se hace eco y la idea es que siempre den el mejor servicio.
