Alfie's Pizza — Restaurant in Lehighton

They kno me here so when they seen this they looked me up on fb and did anything they could to make this up to me they truly r good ppl who care about their customers happiness … hoping this makes the difference will comment again next order

I’m a local I eat alfies a lot!! Since I moved here when I was 14!! And it used to be on point awesome food and awesome owners …. But the past couple years the quality has changed whoever they have new in there is not changing the oil in the fryer and giving out soggy/burnt fries so now multiple times this has happened and this ain’t even the worst it’s been but under my cheese and mixed in is always burnt nasty fries and they add way way way too much cheese on the pizza so it’s always soft on bottom and hard to eat! never used to have to ask for light cheese but now we always have to and it’s getting more and more disgusting anything fried we pick the edible shyt out and throw the rest away smh the owners of this local place are amazing but they need to kno their quality just ain’t it anymore!! stay away from fried foods and if you get cheese pizza ask for light cheese …personal cheesesteak Stromboli is amazing all time favorite def worth it!!! taco pizza is awesome as well!! it’s just anything deep fried and too heavy handed on the cheesing of the pizza 🍕 change your...

The first time we tried this place, we ordered a few sandwiches and they were pretty decent, so we figured we would keep Alfie's in our list. The second time, we had placed a fairly large order. When I went to pickup, they kept asking me what else was in my order, as they seemed to have no idea. Nobody behind the counter seemed to have any idea on what to do. Two phone calls back to home in order to get it straightened out before we had everything. Third time, we placed an order for three dinners. On walking up to counter to pickup order, got shouted out by a large guy behind the counter when I gave my name that they don't write down names on orders and I need to tell them what I ordered. I didn't place the order, so again there had to be discussion in order to figure out what we were picking up. Well now the problem encountered last time is obvious. Alfie or whoever is in charge here, it is YOUR responsibility to accurately keep track of orders! At this point, I don't plan to revisit...

I'm a sucker for bar type foods. That being said I've tried this place on multiple occasions. The first time I got pizza, by far the most disgusting pizza I've ever had... Most of the reviews are actually good so I was confused. The other few times I tried their cheese steaks. They were okay in taste, but they were poorly constructed and not portioned at all. Excessive Bleu cheese in my buffalo cheese steak to the point where that's all I tasted... On one occasion there was so much chicken and buffalo sauce I couldn't even pick the sandwich up because it would just fall apart... Overall I would not recommend, I truly believe it is well received by the locals only and that's where the good reviews come from... Also forgot to mention I've seen on multiple occasions the employees not only drinking on the job, but drinking the product they buy to sell to customers...skip this one. Especially if your looking for good pizza, trust me...
