Great little store. If you're visiting this area, or traveling paston 209/248. Was staying in Lehighton for the weekend off 209 and was looking for a place to relax and wind down... Saw this place pop up with a park across the street. Worth coming here if you're in the area visiting Jim Thorpe or Mahong Valley Speedway or just looking for a nice break from traveling along 209/248. Staff was friendly. Ample room to sit in a very old school icream parlor feel, park across the street is beautiful and well kept for walking across and sitting there enjoying your treats. Ice cream was really good, had a Maple Walnut Sundae with Vermont Maple Syrup and picked up some cool candies for my wife to take back home, cool they had caramel apple and brownie cow tails among other neat candy options both mass produced and an ample amount of choices... More then ample... From a local chocolate place. Worth a detour from Jim Thorpe or the Speedway or if you're driving past looking for a break at the end...

The place is cute, chalk board tables, piano, but the one worker had a bad attitude and was very rude. When my family walked in we were the only ones there to order, the only other customers were leaving. Before I ordered anything I asked if the ice cream had egg in it(my son had a severe egg allergy) she started looking through a bunch of binders and I'm standing waiting for an answer when more customers walked in and she then completely ignored me and started serving everyone else. She ignored for 5 more minutes to where I had my husband ask another worker. That worker didn't have an answer so she asked the worker I was being ignored by who looked at my husband and said "there's no egg". I could've gotten that answer 10 minutes ago. Frustrated by the lack of customer service. If you work with ice cream and candy maybe have a sweeter attitude? So sour, I would've left and never bought anything if it wasn't my son's birthday. THERE ICE CREAM IS NO BETTER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE, IN FACT IT'S WORSE. NO CHERRY VANILLA! NO BUTTER PECAN! AMAZING THEY HAD CHOCOLATE AND IT IS NO BETTER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE! ORDERED A BANANA SPLIT, THE SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM ARE CHILD SIZE! EVERYONE WHO CAME IN AND ORDERED WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SCOOP SIZE. CAN WE SAY WANNA GET RICH QUICK! 2.00 FOR A SCOOP OF ICE CREAM IN A DISH (AGAIN CHILD SIZE SCOOP)... 5.00+ FOR BANANA SPLIT WITH THREE CHILD SIZE SCOOPS, BARLEY ANY TOPPINGS. THE SERVICE SUCKED, HAD TO TELL HER THREE XS MY ORDER FOR A BANANA SPLIT! MORE INTERESTED IN TALKING ON THE PHONE THAN WAITING ON CUSTOMERS.
