This was our first time and my my I have to say it was everything that I thought it would be. The prices are amazing and down home American grease fest is just what the doctor ordered. The peanut butter shake was as good if you slapped an orange label with the word Reese's on the side. The double burger special was better than a big Mac hands down. Such an old school place, yet behind the peeling paint and shabby exterior is an amazing little gem in this fair city.

We traveled from NC to come visit family. Stopped in o e day for lunch. The food was very inexpensive and delicious! All of our sandwiches were bigger than expected. The meat was moist not dry, the buns fresh and soft! The shakes were super thick. You almost need a spoon! Loved it! Will definitely come back when we're in Kentucky again. (I only have pictures of mine)

They only take one order at a time from the drive thru. My guess is the locals call in their orders before they arrive. This is a local hole in the wall and I’d recommend it to anyone passing through. Found myself in town during lunch and the food was served hot and s fresh. Speed is not their strong suit but fresh food was.

I've been coming here my whole life and usually love this place! They have always been kinda gross on the inside and have been known to have employees that look like they haven't showered in weeks. They have always had poor seating, and an awful, nasty bathroom, which they eventually had to close to the public. Even with all these things, I have always loved the food and shakes. They have always had cheap prices, too. I would usually give them 5 stars despite all those things. However, today they only get 3 stars from me! The fries and shake were good, but the burgers didn't taste like a burger from Sandy's has always tasted since my childhood. I am 41 years old and they have tasted the same my entire life, but not today. Also, the lady who took our order and our money made several mistakes. I didn't get what I ordered, and she either couldn't add, or she is pocketing money from the customers! Maybe they also have a new cook...in any case, I won't be returning...

You can't beat a milkshake from Sandy's. You just don't need to be in a hurry. If there is more than 1 car in front of you in line and you only have an hour for lunch, you may as well head somewhere else. You will set there for an uncomfortable amount of time wondering if they forgot about you. Worth it if you have the time lol. Two cars got in line behind me and left after like 20 minutes of the line not moving. They weren't busy mind you. I could see one person at the walk up window. The car in front of me sat there for forever and got handed one bag. I got 1 milkshake and I felt embarrassed because the people behind me must have thought I ordered the whole menu. They had to be perplexed when they handed me a single cup and I drove off. This wasn't a one off thing either. It's painstakingly slow every time. Again, worth it if you have the time. The other food there is good too.

Also, get with the times. This place is cash only, so...

Edit: what is up with the burgers? The quality has gone way down and the price on everything has gone up. We asked for 4 burgers all dressed and they resembled McDonald's cheeseburgers. No onions, no lettuce, no pickles. Really flat looking and lifeless. Please teach your employees how to properly make a burger.

Owner: the Facebook page is awful. I heard it's not yours. But it makes the business look poor. It's in poor taste. Theres a way to report the page and claim one as your own. It would really help your establishment to have reviews you can reply to.

Original review: My partner took me here on my first visit to Leitchfield. He was talking about the banana milkshakes for months. They Have amazing banana milkshakes! Update: I Just tried the oreo milkshake under recommendation. It's similar to the ones at McD but these ones are far healthier most likely and very flavorful. These are the best place in the Grayson County to get...
