McDonald's — Restaurant in Lely

Was in drive thru on June 11th 2023 at 9:45 pm. Spent $28.17 and was pulled forward to wait on our food. No big deal, they were busy. Waited 30 minutes still no food. Called inside the store and was told they were working on it. Waited for a total of 1 hour before I got out of my car seen a worker bringing out a mobile order where I explained what happened and asked could I get my food or a refund. He looked at me and simply walked inside so I followed him in. He went behind the counter brought someone else's food to them and didn't speak to me again. I ended up leaving as i had 2 very hungry kids at that point who were crying and tired. I called the store over 80 times that night trying to get a refund. No one would answer. The next day I am 2 hours from the location and about to board a plane back home as I was just visiting Florida. A manager finally answered and told me come get my money back and my food for free. I explained it wasn't possible and was given the corporate number. I've contacted corporate 4x now and the franchise has not responded to them what so ever. I've called and asked to speak with a general manager also and have never been able to reach her. I was basically robbed of my money. This store is absolutely horrible. I've never in my life seen a business ran this way. Please DO NOT GO HERE! They don't care about the customers and will rob you when given the chance. Go to taco bell across the road. I ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget meal. And when I ordered it I put in there that I wanted light salt on my fries because I wanted fresh fries not fries that have been sitting there. I sat down at my table waiting for my order, and when my order came the fries was so hard I could barely chew them, I took one bite of one and all you heard was a loud crunching noise because they was hard. The lady that brought me my food I asked her if she could please get me new fries because these ones are old and hard. And the lady had the audacity to tell me no you already took one of the fries so now you have to keep them. If you don't want them then throw them away. I asked to speak to the manager but the manager didn't speak any English so that was a loss cause. Anyways I never got new fries, the chicken nuggets was stale and overcooked as well. The only good thing I got was a Dr pepper. As for the environment, the place needed to be cleaned. After customers got done at a table the employees didn't even bother to actually clean the tables properly. They just took the trash off the table and that was it. They didn't spray disinfectant or anything. And then people are wondering why covid is still going around. This McDonald's needs to do better.
