Gourmet Donuts — Restaurant in Leominster

I’m wondering in what world, where you think it’s a fireable offense, to fire an employee when she was attacked while at work and had a coffee thrown at her, where she said out loud she did not want to serve her because she knew she was up to something. She kept it professional and served her. 10 years of working at your place of business, you ONE made her finish her shift in wet clothes, which is against so so so many laws and rules, THEN fire her for the events of what happened. From my understanding in the ten years she’s worked here, NOT ONE WARNING of drama or anything along those lines were ever given to this employee, and if you did, unless you made a journal entry or documented it…. Without proper representation you are not permitted to fire her on those grounds . Again, a big no no and it’s clear she was fired for personal reasons. AND to fire her right before the holidays also…. I’m at a loss of words of how you handled this situation and for her I’m going to dig and research with my lawyer friends and see what...

Two stars because one of the girls was actually nice and made my coffee to perfection. However, the second girl who made food was insanely rude. I requested a toasted plain to which she cut me off stating they did not have that - fine! Onion will do! She took that one order and immediately turned around to make it, the other nice girl started on my coffees. I knew I still had more food to order but was never given a chance so I asked her "if I had more food to order should I let her know now" she turns around rolls her eyes and says "yes", the food was awful. Poor customer service and doesn't make me feel comfortable to return. If you don't like customers making orders then maybe you shouldn't work somewhere that customers...

I used to loved Gourmet but the last few times I’ve gone, my orders were made incorrectly. This morning I ordered a bagel with egg and cheese. The girl who took my order repeated it twice very clearly to the woman making it and after I got to work, I realized I was given a bagel with cream cheese because the woman was busy talking to someone and not paying attention to what she was told.
